My Pinterest referrals hit a high in 2020. I got fewer in 2021. And as of yet I have none at all in 2022.
Do other have a different experience? I need to know if it's worth my time to continue using Pinterest for promoting.
I also do Postcrossing!

Hi @Windy As for your numbers in 2020 and 2021... I would imagine that most people have seen the same trend. In 2020 and early 2021 everyone was basically stuck at home and spending lots and lots of time online. And since people could not buy experiences... they were buying products. In 2021 people finally began to get out... but not all at once and it happened over time in 2021. But that time "out" equals less time online.
As for your 2022 slump, I can't just explain that away. There are far too many variables to simply guess as to why referrals have stopped.
Though I can attest that sales have slowed for me in 2022. But most of that, for me, is transitioning to new P accounts and not maintaining the old ones... though they still bring in referrals. The new ones, not so much, yet. They are only a few months old.
I've always found success with P when I've been consistent with pinning, varied pin styles, and followed various others that could be interested in what I am pinning. It just takes time, from my experience.
Although you have put in the time... so one would have to take a deep dive to try and uncover why referrals have stopped. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
