Promoting Your Zazzle Products Through "Benable".

I got accepted onto Benable platform quite easily, but their last email to me says there are 50,000 on the waitlist! However, they've given me an invite-code to share with friends, or on social-media.

So here it is! benable.com/i/28W63

I'm primarily using it to promote Zazzle items, and already Benable are telling me my lists are being indexed on Google. Posting links is a doddle - you simply post the Zazzle url - and the platform pulls in your primary image.

This is me on Benable, so you can see how it works; www.benable.com/NigelSutherland

It looks like it's sort of like Pinterest? I signed up, thank you.

Yes - I thought exactly the same thing! It’s very easy to use. Will be interesting to see how it develops!

Thank you! It's great to be able to skip the waiting list and get right on. I made an account, using your link and I started by creating a list of books about art and artists. Easy to do; I have plans for several other kinds of lists which I may add as time permits. Here's my Benable artbooks list. https://benable.com/Windy/books-about-art

I also do Postcrossing!

@NigelSutherlandThanks so much Nigel. I just have signed up (https://benable.com/SanFrancisco), followed you and created swiftly a list for Saint Patrick's Day (https://benable.com/SanFrancisco/outer-sunset-san-francisco-s-irish-neighborhood). It's quiet intuitive making it a piece of cake and very enjoyable to breeze through it. I wish us all much success with it. 🙂

I'd never heard of Benable and being a skeptic about such things, started Googling to see what the catch is, being especially curious about the "invite only" premise and all the invite links now floating around. I didn't turn up anything negative / shady /scandulous. Seems to be a legit site with rising traffic.

One thing I read over & over on various sites it that Benable doesn't take any of your commissions, you get the whole thing. Which begs the question, how then is Benable making money? I couldn't find an answer to that.

What I did find of interest -

- You need $80 in earnings for a payout, and it's paid via Paypal
- When you are credited with inviting someone, you get a "small percentage" of their first ten commissions. That from what I believe to be a reliable source and certainly explains the drive to share invite links.

I'm going to join, sounds like an interesting platform even if you're not sharing actual affiliate links with it. (Will be using Nigel's link as he's the one who first brought this platform to all our attention so seems the right way to go.)

Now that I have joined, I can see more details about the invite program, details I couldn't find Googling. Sharing here just as FYI.

and then here are those 20 brands unlocked by successfully inviting people:

Thanks for the heads  up on the platform... but seems a bit clunky to use IMO but I also know it's still in Beta (I think) so they still have kinks to work out. Do I have time for another platform? We'll see lol

I agree that it's clunky. And yes, the site is still evolving. I've started out with books and Kindle products and have already earned some commissions through Amazon. I'll soon be adding some of my book-related Zazzle products, making sure to not use Benable's link that goes through their own association with Zazzle because the commissions are reduced by Benable taking its own cut. (Remember this if you decide to use the platform.)

I have 3 list optimized, they sent me message I need to make lists beside just products! I have no idea what do so besides restaurant and afraid I might be do something  like using photos on these sites! Any thoughts for me? Thanks!

Windy

I see a lot of lists detailing travel destinations. I have included restaurants, museums, playgrounds, and historical info etc on my "local" lists. I generally make a list of a place which I know because it was once local to me, but which is not covered already by a zillion other Benablers.

I also do Postcrossing!

Another thing you might look at is your own hobbies and interests such as gardening, crafts, sewing, and so forth. Doesn't matter because, no matter the hobby/interest, someone else will be interested in it too. It helps if you become an Amazon associate since they seem to carry everything. I'm planning to check into how I might include a few good blogs on my own interests, which combined with Amazon, might create a long enough list to get a checkmark from Benable.
