Sharing to Instagram

Is there a reason we don't have Instagram as a choice in the SHARE THIS section of a product post?  🤔

Instagram is a mobile only platform (their choice) - so you either have to be running a mobile emulator on your computer or posting from a mobile device to access it.

???  It hasn't been mobile only since 2013.  ???

From what I understand, you can browse easily from your desktop, but posting is still quite limited when using anything other than mobile... I am able to post directly from Zazzle if I am using the phone app.

Edit - it looks like Instagram may have been testing out desktop capabilities as of last June.... but at the time it apparently was not rolled out to all users and I am unaware of whether or not that happened...

I'd guess it's because 1) Instagram doesn't make links in post "hot" so they're not clickable therefore it's not a user-friendly way for people to get to our stuff, they either have to copy & paste the link or go the even more  inefficient "see link in bio" route and 2) Insta pics need to be square so that would be another step Zazzle would have to do behind the scenes.

Also FYI: If you install the Vivaldi browser you can use Instagram from your PC exactly as you can from a phone. It's free, it's easy, and it's super convenient. If you're in to Instagram it's a must-have.

There is a way to link and post through facebook, but seems complicated to me.

Basically, Instagram doesn't make sharing to their platform very easy at all.
