I’m new to selling on Zazzle and was wondering if you have any tips or strategies for increasing sales, especially for getting those first few orders. Are there any specific actions I should focus on to gain traction as a beginner?

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Check out YouTube videos to learn the tips and tricks for both Zazzle and other POD platforms. That’s a good starting place.

I just started sharing to a new site called Benable and I am loving it so far, I think getting in early is key to beating some heavy traffic later because you will be one of the early birds to already have an established account so people will be more likely to want to follow you. I also highly recommend Pinterest as it's a popular method of traffic for me, Benable is very similar but like a fresh new spin and without character restrictions. Here's my link if you'd like to check it out. There's currently a waitlist to get on the site but you can skip past it and start creating your own shareable lists by signing with my invite link: https://benable.com/i/TPQUX

Also, if you'd like to connect on Pinterest here is my account:

Best of luck to you and welcome to Zazzle!

Welcome! Getting those first few sales is always the hardest part, so don’t get discouraged — once you build some momentum, it gets easier. A few things that helped me in the beginning:

  • Focus on quality titles and descriptions. Use the words a customer would actually type in the search bar (e.g., “rustic fall wedding invitation” instead of just “wedding invite”). Keywords are what get your products seen.

  • Create collections. Grouping similar designs together not only makes your store look more professional, but also gives customers more to browse once they find you.

  • Pin your products on Pinterest. Zazzle products do really well there since it’s a visual search engine, and those pins can keep bringing you traffic long after you post them.

  • Upload consistently. Even a few products every week helps you get noticed in Zazzle’s search and shows customers your shop is active.

  • Check trends and niches. Seasonal designs, holidays, and trending colors or themes can give you a quick boost when you’re starting out.

It does take some time, but if you keep creating and sharing, those first sales will come. Wishing you the best with your new shop!
