I've been working on on my Abstract Wrapping Paper store the past few months. I made a few sales but am struggling to get any traction. I've learned a lot and am deleting as I go but my strategy has been to create new designs with the same theme as the products that have been purchased. If someone has bought an abstract skull design wrapping paper before, maybe I need to create more right?

I am of the opinion, for myself anyway, while we are designers/artists/photographers, this is actually not about that, sure we need to create designs, but when it comes to product ranges, pricing, etc, the artist must go away and the businessman must show up. 

Suggestion would be go through all of Zazzles products and see what your designs can work, and then see how many variations of that design you can create without it becoming generic. So for example, if you have a black skull that sells, why not try it logical colors that people would enjoy, for this example, Neon colors might work, white would work for darker shirts, but I would avoid earthly colors like brown shades or perhaps grey shades. Think day of dead colors from the Mexican holiday. 

And then as for getting traction, I dont think you can rely on the marketplace to make it happen for you. Marketing yourself where your market is would probably be best. Like I have recently started marketing to tourists that visit South Africa, waiting to see if it works though as we just started a few weeks back and need to experiment, So your designs are best aimed at tattoo parlors, bike shops, maybe even costume shops or toy stores? as with anything entrepeneurial, you basically need to decide everything for yourself, and decide to determine your destiny, so if you think you should make more, make more, and just see what happens. like I trialed designs that failed before, but I tried.

anything without a underlined link is potentially a unnecessary tag, as Zazzle is reporting it as being not searched often enough to warrant a link. so it could be useful to go through all your products and see what links are actually unusable. so people are probably searching for t-rex or some variant of that instead of tyrannosaurus rex for example.

Was just about to delete that product as its only sold one but might leave it and try figure out the tags.

So you're saying to try get all the tags underlined?

pretty much, at least that is what I understand of how Zazzle's search algorithm works, if its underlines, it means its a term zazzle deems popular and they will show more products with that. the two different sets are for where it will be searched
