I'm a Mac user, and work more on my iPad than on my laptop these days. I wanted to recommend a fantastic app, which you can get for iPads and laptops, called Drafts. It's free, and is a real boon for storing information, which can be quickly retrieved by doing a search with some relevant key words. I create a new page, basically a note, for each title and associated description and keywords. The library for the app will update across all devices.

I’m using MindNode for this. Love being able to see everything in both mind map and outline views!

If you design similar products in the same niche keeping a list of your best tags and descriptions is helpful so you dont have to do the research again.
