I don't know if this feature was already available before the launch of the new script fonts yesterday, but thought I'd mention it here anyway.
Just as you would hover your mouse to the left of a font on the font list to make the star visible and clickable to add that font to your favorites listing (and vice versa to click and remove it from your favorites listing) as mentioned in this thread New Feature -- Starred (Favorite) Fonts - Zazzle), you can also hover your mouse over or to the right of a font on the font list, and it will display the name (give it a second or two for the callout box to appear).
This is helpful for symbols or fonts whose name may not be immediately legible because of their metrics (e.g. kerning, size, etc).
