New Video with Creator Tips for Visualizing Faux Glitter on Fabric Products

Hello!
Awhile back, I posted a question in the forum asking for designers to share photos of fabric products with faux glitter that they have ordered and seen in person on Zazzle.

I did not have much luck! lol

However, I recently ordered one of my accessory pouches for Mother's Day to give as a gift, and it has "glitter" detailing.

Today, I released a video on YouTube detailing my thoughts on the product in person, and how I will visualize what this will look like in the future as I create more products.

I hope you will find it helpful.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just avoid putting faux glitter designs on those accessory pouches. It inevitably does look like speckles, as you said. Faux glitter is probably best left to non-porous products.

Thanks for watching. Yes, I got excited because I found a Photoshop action that created the glitter effect and the art looked SO GOOD with it. The accessory pouches had recently been released, and I went a little nuts preparing a bunch of them for Mother’s Day!

At some point, I remembered that fabric is definitely not the same, so I came to the forum to inquire!  Finally, I decided to just risk it and order one.

I agree with you: my plan moving forward is also to stick with faux glitter on paper/hard products. With paper products, I’m thinking I might check out CMYK files and compare. I will eventually order a notebook or something similar and will be sure to share as well.

Thanks again!

I watched. It was great to see the results in person. Hopefully, as more forum members watch your videos. you will receive more feedback when you ask for help/questions.

Thank you again for your support, @Jadendreamer13. 🙂 My goal is always a collaborative, creative community. I hope more will chime in with their experience as well!

Thank you, Patricia! I think one of the hardest things about POD is not being able to see the products we create in person. Obviously it's a little tough because Zazzle has SO many products, but I was glad to get a more conclusive answer for myself on this one and definitely wanted to share. 😄
