So because of all the changes, I would like to adjust my royalty rates. However, the royalty calculator has disappeared. So it's impossible to find what would be a good rate. A new tactic from Zazzle to just put everything at 10% or am I being too suspicious here?

Hi everyone. Is this the best app to create a store if you expect to have customers from all over the world? I keep reading that while Zazzle is located worldwide, customers should only shop from the storefront in their region. I'm just trying to determine how that would work if (for example) a band or author wanted to use Zazzle to create things with their logo, and they had fans from all over wanting to buy it (not just in that country). Thanks in advance.

Are you describing the product or the placement on your custom images. Like "....placed on a dining table setting" 100 characters isn't much. What are you all writing and does this have any effect on search?

* post last updated 11/08/2020 https://help.zazzle.com/hc/en-us/articles/232059087-Image-Asset-Sizes-Needed-for-Your-Store Store banners are resized by Zazzle to 2048 x 565 and then are scaled to fit the viewing device so it is a good idea to keep important elements near the center as the outer edges may be cut off on some screens, particularly the right edge. Also try to avoid putting anything in the lower left 1/3 area as that gets covered by your profile pic block and title/desciption that Zazzle adds. Something that may be sort-of close to that area on one screen may actually be getting overlapped by it on another. The minimum allowed size is 1140 x 315. Your Profile Pic that is overlayed on your store banner needs to be a minimum of 512 x 512 but it is displayed at 150 x 150. Profile banners get sized to the same size as Store banners (2048 x 565) but in their case, it's the very center you want to avoid decorating on as that's where your profile pic and name & description are placed by Zazzle. The minimum allowed size is 1140 x 315. Category cover images have no minimum required size but they are displayed st 253 x 253. Making them larger is just a waste as they aren't going to be displayed that big. Also, "window" style cover images that show a variety of the products in that category may look good at say 1280 x 1280 when you are creating them but when shrunk down to the display size of 253 x 253 the detail one might have been aiming for might not be as clear. Not to say there aren't a lot of great looking "windows" out there - there are - just keep in mind if you go that route it's only going to be seen at 253 x 253 not whatever larger size you design it at. Collection Cover images need to be a minimum of 324 x 324 but are displayed at only 272 x 272. (If instead of adding a cover image you just let it show the first item in the collection, it displays at 252 x 252.) Collection banners are 1140 x 315. Media Files (the "Media Items" they want you to add at least ten of to your store Home) need to be a minimum of 1440 x 1080. See this post (11/13/2020) for more information on the Media section. https://forum.zazzle.com/gallery/template_for_creating_a_perfectly_sized_header]Template for creating a perfectly sized header image for your Media section TIP: If you forget what size an image should be try using one you know is very small and you'll get a message on screen telling you that your image is too small and the minimum required size. (Except for Category covers, for some reason you don't get such helpful info when trying to add those.) You can get an idea of how your store looks on different resolutions & devices by using these simulator tools: [links deleted] ** Screen resolution simulators no longer work with Zazzle because "To protect your security, zazzle.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it."

According to my Royalties total cleared, I have more than $25,000 now. So I wrote and asked why am I not upped to "Silver" from Bronze. This is what I got as a reply: "Only USD on .com count towards Pro Level. You would need to download the CSV file and count all the earnings made in USD and that are cleared." Since when does the store owner have to go through years of sales and add up the USD? That never happened when I went from PRO to BRONZE. The total royalties cleared in the green are USD from what I understood. And, doesn't Zazzle keep track of the USD royalties from the foreign royalties for tax purposes? Have any of you had to add up your own USD royalties in order to go up in rank? I mean, even if you did, who would you turn that in to and would they even bother to validate it? This seems like a cop out to me. I've got to add up all my royalties for them! The message to me is that they're not even bothering to monitor this so they can raise store ranks when the amount is earned.

Is there a way to look at the product insights at the same time and not individual products with the design on it? It would be nice if we have that under action button.

I've been trying to sell my designs again after years of inactivity. Now when I make a design for something like an iPhone case, there is no option to put it for sale. Is this due to my Android phone's browser?

Guess we are limited to only the few choices on the list which don't apply to Dogs, Cats, Funny, Animal Lovers. I chose Other and created Animal Lovers...but didn't work. After spending the time Creating a collection (tags, etc) instead of letting us pick our Animal Lovers designs, it jumps back to our Products. ;( oops prob should've clicked on Collections vs Store Mgmt.

I added a 4th main category a few days ago to my new shop (a couple weeks old), and it only appears in the "store management" section on the side bar; it doesn’t appear on the public storefront at all, so customers can’t see it. Why is this happening? What can I do to make it visible?

I am confused by the "Sort by popularity" option in the store management. What is the definition of "popularity" in this case? In one of my shops, four hidden products are among the first five hits when I sort by popularity. In another shop, I do not see any of the products that have actually sold among the first five listings. In fact, there are products with no likes and one of them has no views at all. So, clearly, "popularity" does not have to do with the design that are on these products because some are not even public. Does that mean that "popularity" refers to the Zazzle product itself? What kind of product that is popular right now? That does not make sense either as different product types are among the first five results in different shops, even if both shops have the same product in them (a notebook for example). I really want to make use of the functions/tools that are in the store management area but to do that I must also understand the purpose of the functions. I have searched the help pages without finding any explanation so now I am posting here.

So I have had my store for nearly 10 years. As many creatives may have found for themselves, I have gone off niche many times. I have made some new stores, but just to secure the names (it's a bit like parking a domain name). I feel that since I have 2500 products (yikes! I seem to remember having 8k) and the niche has been infiltrated with daydreams, I need to subdivide. First issue is that I cannot simply assign my collections to stores. It seems they have been locked down with "Store cannot be changed after the collection has been created". In other words. • You can have one product and assign many collections. • You can't have one collection and assign it to different stores. The only solution is to create a duplicate collection for your other store. But, this is quite a big overhead for designers. Why can't we create one collection and assigning it to different stores? Or have I missed something? Another question is whether I should keep a master store with everything in it or make my collections/products exclusive to each store. umm. How does this extra store affect external links? - something to think about.
