Not All Royalty Changes Were Made

All of my products have been 5-10%.

A few days ago I changed my default royalty percentage to 10% and I checked the box to set all of my existing products to this percentage - I was shown a little message saying it was a success.

Some of my products went from 5 to 10% but many are still at 5%.

Can you please look into this.

Thank you

To have your royalty change on all your existing product means you wait till the 21st of each month. Give it a few days.

When you go to publish a new product you'll see the default will be the 10% you asked for.

I changed all the royalty percentages on both my shops on 4/17. It is now end of day 4/21 and nothing has changed on either shop. Talking about over 17 thousand products.

Zazzle Admin, could you have Tech check this out? Thanks in advance.

@Mark, Scott, Emma, etc.

It is now midday 4/26. As I stated in my earliier post, which was moved by Mark with no reply by him to me in that post....I changed all 17,000+ product royalties on 4/17. As of today 4/26, no change, still at previous royalties. Six days since 4/20 when they were supposed to be updated. Very disappointed Zazzle, that I have to post more than once to request that this be fixed.

Please update my royalties, which I took a full day to change, only to have no updates done by Zazzle.
(Been here since July 2008. Long time SK.)

Thank you in advance.

Hi folks,

Moving this to Store Management as there is no tech issue present.

@Mark

today, may 2, 2022 still no changes in royalties that I submitted for both of my shops on 4 /17/22, scheduled for 4/20, but did not happen.

Could you remind the team again that there are several SKs waiting for the team to update the error/omission, and initiate an update. Thanks.

For what it is worth, Zazzle indexing of changes is now so slow, it effects everything to do with any changes to your products and store. By my reckoning the indexing is at least 4 days behind. At this point you just have to wait it out.

It has been six days and I still have many products that have not been changed.

Is this normal for slow indexing? Or should this topic be returned to Technical Issues?

Thanks

My whole store was suppose to change on the 22nd and it did not. I am going to report in the Technical issues forum.

Looked the date up again just to double check my memory....it's basically the 20th, which it has been for years....

"...our system will aggregate all the royalty changes made in your account and apply them to your products once a month. This will take place on or around the 20th of every month, with the exception of our peak holiday season when royalty changes may be paused. This way all changes will be made at the same time."

still doesn't solve the problem... just verifies that Zazzle has not updated the royalties in a timely manner.

At least for those of us (at least 3) who have posted about the issue.

Again today, may 3, 2022 still no changes in royalties that I submitted for both of my shops on April 17,2022, scheduled for April 20, but did not happen. No reply from Mark, so I posted again today since I could not edit yesterday’s post.

Could you remind the team again that there are several SKs with the same issues waiting for the team to update the error/omission, and initiate an update. Thanks.

Hi @idraw ,

Apologies for the delay in response here. I have reached out to our Team to see if there is an update/ETA that we can provide on this. Apologies for the inconvenience, I will update this thread as soon as possible once I've heard back.

Thanks for your patience.

@Emma

Appreciate your kind attention in replying. Hoping for a quick resolve. Already lost Mother's Day, 16 more days till the next change in royalties. But by May 20th, Father's Day will be a bust too. Not just for me but also for the other SKs involved.

Also posted this same reply in technical issues section.

You can thank Craig in Cork Ireland for resolving the non-update of royalty for several of us sks affected , ( he has a great Irish lilt) the Zazzle phone contact I spoke with on Thursday 5/5, (he read my forum posts as we talked) who said he would contact Zazzle tech and the royalty rate issue would be resolved in 24 hours, and it has been. Remember, in ask a question forum section(?) I replied that I had called Zazzle and suggested that you also could call about your issues. It took me numerous posts before I got frustrated enough and realized that posting and waiting was not getting the job done. Fortunately I got someone on the phone who listened. Thank him for finally getting it handled.

Please  understand I did not post to get any credit, rather posted to let everyone know that Zazzle phone support does work., and to give credit for a job well done. Hopefully Zazzle will read this and Craig will be kudoed by Zazzle.

THANK YOU CRAIG,Zazzle in Cork Ireland! Great job!
