Product not showing up in store after several tries...?

I've been using Zazzle for awhile to print calendars, and I do remember from previous years that it can take a day or so for a new product to appear in my store. However, this year I'm not having any luck at all -- the product seems to be set up to appear in the store, but doesn't actually show up. This is the product:

https://www.zazzle.com/2023_mount_hood_national_park_calendar-158277182858426581

This is my store:

https://www.zazzle.com/store/mount_hood_campaign

I was able to delete last year's calendar, so my store still appears to be working -- at least on that level. Hoping to get this new item to post before Thanksgiving weekend - fingers crossed!

Thanks!

When I click the link to your product I land on a page telling me that it is private.  You need to go into Edit Details and make sure you have the product set to public.  You should be able to see it in the back end of your store... but right now, because it is set to Direct Only (I think, although it could be set to hidden), it will not appear in your store front.  Once you make the change, give it a few days to index the change, and it should appear.

Thanks for responding! When I went to settings, private is unchecked -- so I'm not sure why it didn't show up for you. I might have provided a link to the non-public view, though. Here's the public URL:

https://www.zazzle.com/store/mount_hood_campaign

(looks the same as the link in my first message... and if so, I'm further baffled!). Here's a screenshot of my settings:

Thanks, but I'm not sure where I would find that setting -- it's not obvious on the product page. I don't see any place where I have "edit details" as an option, save for the actual design (which I've also tried -- but don't want to screw up the design). Here's the link to the product:

https://www.zazzle.com/2023_mount_hood_national_park_calendar-158277182858426581

...and that looks to be exactly the same as when I posted it earlier. The only way I can find this product at the moment is to go to the "recently viewed items" at the bottom of the store page -- where no less than three versions show up (for each time I've followed the "sell it" path to load it into my store). I also notice that he price and some of the other settings I made when i went through the "sell it" haven't stuck to the product -- so, I'm hoping if/when it makes it into the store it has that info updated. Fingers crossed!

I might just need to sit and wait for awhile... or bail on using the store this year. Based on other discussion, it seems like Zazzle stores might be having issues right now

Appreciate your help1

I just went through the "sell it" sequence again -- here's the link provided after completing that (again):

https://www.zazzle.com/2023_mount_hood_national_park_calendar-158967336001545345

Maybe that will load for you?

@Splintercat

YES!  I can see that one!

and for future reference, in the backend under your product images click actions and edit details should be one of the options listed... or.... on the product page, it is in the little bar above the product image...

Thanks for your help! I did go in and edit settings for the item, keeping my fingers crossed that it eventually shows up in my store, now. Still not there - at least I have a public link to the product now!

Hi, ya'll, I have a somewhat similar issue.  I have two 'stores.'  This year I made a new calendar.  No one I know who has expressed interest in the calendar can find it.  Maybe they can with the direct link, but I have realized that despite me hitting "sell it," the calendar never made into either of my stores.  Is there a way to move it into one of them?  TIA, Barbara, AKA Squirrel_Girl

@Squirrel_Girl

1. I only see one store listed under your name Petroglyph Designs. If you have two stores under same ID (Squirrel_Girl), check to see if second store is PUBLIC.

2. I see 4 products - 2 calendars 2023 petroglyphs, and 2022 and 2023 NM petroglyphs. Hint - Do not make the year a permanent text, your calendars are only useful for that year. If it is vital to have a year on the cover, make the year a template text (20xx) and it can be changed by the buyer.  The calendar pages automatically update as the year changes and they buyer can select which month and year they want to customize it to.

3. I searched for "New Mexico Petroglyph calendar" in the marketplace and saw all four calendars. If there are newer calendars that are not what I am seeing, then it is probably a  delay in indexing problem.

Nice topic for a calendar!

I'm glad @Splintercat had his problem solved.  I am still working on my problems @BKMuir.  Thanks for the kind words.  I live in petroglyph central (OK, Utah is another P central, too).  Anyway.  Here's the link to my other store:  https://www.zazzle.com/store/deepcaves

So, I learned that I had screwed up with naming the year.  I'm still getting the hang of all this.  I am trying to fix one of my calendars.  I was able to update the actual text on it, but the metadata still gives an old year. I thought I fixed that on a different calendar, but I sure can't figure it out now.  I'll try and remember not to do "years" next year.

The calendar that no one can see is one that is strictly prairie dogs.  A different calendar from the past comes up with a single interior page shown with a prairie dog on that particular month, but none of the rest of that calendar is a P Dog.  I don't know why, but I find Zazzle very confusing.

@BKMuir , OK, I have tried again.  Wish me luck!  I re-hit the "sell it" button and checked the Public radio button.  Maybe that was a previous mistake I'd made.  I have done some GUI development professionally, and I find this one perplexing.  Oh well.  Since I reposted it, it may take a day before it's approved.  They gave me this link.  Maybe you can see it?  https://www.zazzle.com/calendar-158956873141643354
