Royalty % for business cards

What would anyone suggest is a good royalty % for business cards? I'm redoing my pages because sales are really down. I had them at 20% but am wondering how low I should go.

Thanks,

Donna

What are the top-selling business cards in your niche selling for? Are your prices competitive with those?

The prices are all over the place. Some are higher and some are lower. I already have some that are on the first page of the search and some are higher and some lower than mine. I guess I'll lower it about 5% and see what happens from there. I don't want to go to low because people assume a cheep product if they are to low.....and of course I don't want it to high either, but I want to produce more sales.

Your are saying you are going to lower your royalty to 5% and at the same time saying you don't want to go too low for fear of appearing to have cheap products. However you can't go lower than 5 % so where does that leave you when you figure in the various fees and other things you need to take into account when trying to make a living selling a product for profit.  Also: what affiliate is going to want to promote your products based on a 5% base price... I wouldn't but maybe others don't care?  This is a very competitive product to try to sell on this platform.... I wish you success. Find a niche and run with it.

I think when the OP said “I guess I'll lower it about 5% and see what happens” means lowering the royalty down by 5% TO 15%, not setting it AT 5%.
