Every time I do a search it tells me 404 page not found. Then when I search again it brings up the page. Hop this isn't happening for customers...

Where are you searching? What term are you searching for?

That happens to me when I search from the $ pages of my shop (royalty, history, etc). This is an example, I type "dog postcard" (no quotes, just for clarity here), and it gives this URL with a 404: https://www.zazzle.com/pd/s/dog+postcard

Then, I put "dog postcard" into the search on that 404 page and it works correctly, giving me this URL https://www.zazzle.com/s/dog+postcard

So when searching from Account pages, it's adding "/pd/" to the URL

anything. I just searched for american flag return address labels for another thread and go the 404 message. I just did one for open house flag and got the 404 message again.

It seems to happen whenever I open a new tab. Once I've gotten one 404 message, then no matter what I search for in the same tab, it seems fine after that, but once I open a new tab and start trying to search I get the 404 message again.

@Scott still having this problem. Searching from the top bar. Example search: neck ties. Gives 404 error message

I am having the same problem. I am entering search terms in the search bar next to the word zazzle at the top of the screen in the MP where it says "search for products or designs". I have searched all kinds of different products with different key words. The first time I search I get 404 Page Not Found. If I enter in the search terms a second time it works as expected.

@Scott this is still happening to me pretty much every time I search. This evening I searched "neck tie" and it came up 404 Page Not Found.

zazzle.com/pd/s/neck+tie

Someone else on this thread suggested that the problem is Zazzle is adding  "/pd/" to the URL

It happens to be when I search in the search bar for almost any phrase from any page. For example "100th birthday birthday invitation". The first time I usually get the 404 error. If I hit enter again, then I get the correct search. It has been happening for a few weeks. I just figured it was a Zazzle glitch that would fix itself eventually.

Just an update that this is still happening. I'm having to type in my search twice to get any results. Not sure how many customers are going to hang around to do this?

In short, this error happens when a user performs a search from the Earnings page. So you can easily avoid the issue by not performing a search on that page.

The Earnings page uses an older type of framework for the page's construction, and we've slowly been moving away from over the past few years. The vast majority of pages that a customer might visit are on the newer framework, so there isn't any major concern that a customer will be impacted by this particular bug.
