Can not change the setting "lock aspect ratio"

The setting "lock aspect ratio is stuck."  Even if I take the check mark off, it will not allow me to cropp just one side of an image.  It keeps cropping in "lock aspect ratio" mode.

Have you tried holding the shift key while dragging the crop corners?  That's what worked of me.

Thank you SAMACK!  I also just noticed an update on that, posted today. Zazzle intentionally locked this feature and suggests using the shift key, just like you did.  I never liked the new setting of cropping anyway and prefered the old way. Why make it complicated wen the simple way works just fine.

Ugh thank you!!  Sheesh, I feel like we JUST had the crop tool switched on us.  I'm glad I found this thread because I've been trying like an IDIOT to crop everything apparently the wrong way for a week.

I have the same problem since a few days, and as I work on an iPad, I can’t crop and hold shift at the same time… So I totally lost the previous cropping feature, and I’m terribly disturbed. 😔

@zazzle could you please do something for that issue for people working on iPad ?

Thanks for the tip! Just want to reiterate how much I LOATHE this new cropping tool! I liked it soooo much better when cropping and re-sizing were separate tools - now the cropping tool resizes too and I find it almost impossible to crop something without accidentally re-sizing it. Is there some trick that I'm unaware of?

I don't like it either. It's also not easy to use on an iPad, and I do most of my work on one, for convenience.

For me the whole design tool is not easy to use on an iPad, LOL!
