Can't unclick on box to remove product from a collection?

Noticed this yesterday from both the backend and the individual product page. If I've accidentally added a product to a collection, I can't unclick the checked box ... the tickmark remains, no matter how many times I've tried.

I have to go directly to the collection to remove the product and manually refresh the collection.

This has been happening in Google Chrome (I'm using the latest version). Microsoft Edge appears to be okay.
