Well, I answered my own question. Zazzle did not like me applying my own earnings to cover the entire purchase and add on Zazzle Plus shipping in the same transaction. Once I removed the Zazzle Plus purchase, then it went through, though I had to pay for shipping on this single item instead of using that $10 shipping to go towards Zazzle Plus. Seems there is a glitch somewhere to be worked out.
