Design tool either closes when an element is clicked or doesn't open at all

I have recently experienced an issue where clicking a specific element in the design tool immediately closes the design tool and returns me to the product page. It happens every time I click on that element. Clicking on other elements doesn't close the design tool. Replacing the affected design element and deleting the original one is the only way to fix the problem.

Now I have a related issue where clicking the 'edit this design' button on some products briefly shows the loading screen and then returns me to the product page without opening the design tool. If I then try clicking the 'edit this design' (or 'edit using the design tool') button again, nothing happens. Refreshing the page and transferring the design to a new product doesn't eliminate the issue. This means I have no way of editing the design.

These issues don't happen with every product.

Anyone else having the same issues?

@NHW  what browser are you using? Is it desktop or mobile? Windows or mac?

Sounds like a browser extension/adblocker/ cookie could be messing with the design tool maybe?

I'm using Chrome on PC. I don't think it's an extension because it doesn't happen on all products, but I'll try disabling all of them and see if that resolves the issue. Thanks, Sara!

@NHW  Try firefox too - that's a less buggy browser than chrome

Tried disabling all extensions, and also tried Firefox, but the issue persists. 😣

Could we please have more information, such as an example product that you use to reproduce the issue? Does this issue occur when clicking on any object, or do some objects work while others return to the PDP?

Thanks for the help, Fiona. What email address can I send all the details to?
