Earnings didn’t clear this morning

I didn’t see daily earnings clear this morning as usual.  Is this an issue?

No it's not an issue, it's just too early to be concerned. The earnings sometimes don't clear for a week or so especially when there is a weekend at the beginning of the month,  so just give it a few more days.

I’m not talking about the monthly payout.  I’m talking about the daily clearing from “Pending” to “Current Total Balance”.  It didn’t update this morning as it does every day assuming, of course, there are pending earnings to clear.

Oops...my eyes are obviously a little foggy this morning or I would have noticed you did say 'daily'. Feel free to ignore me..lol.

I noticed the daily earning didn't go from pending to cleared as they normally do (ie from grey to green in royalty history)

@BayleeI think @Zorinda is asking about the daily sales clearing from pending and not the end of monthly pay

Could be an indexing issue or a glitch (there was scheduled maintenance yesterday morning when sales normally clear and that could have messed things up)

I don't know, but could it be because of the extended return timeframe for Christmas?

I'm very sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue here and for the delay. It looks like the earnings have since cleared. Are you still noticing an error?

Daily Earnings now have not cleared for 2 days. I am still showing the same cleared balance from 2 days ago and those earnings from a month ago that should have cleared are still sitting in Pending.  The issue doesn’t seem to be cleared up yet.

daily earnings are not clearing, I feared that the entire earning summary and royalty history is frozen and not updating. can you ask the devs to double check this problem?

The "Current Total Balance" is not getting updated since 3 days. The balance usually gets updated everyday

Indexing for everything from view counts and cover uploads are very slow right now! That includes updating our earnings. You have to be patient. This happens every year at this time.

The slow indexing has been an issue for years at this point, with varying degrees of seriousness.  The broken view count issues, while sometimes just being slow, seem to more often be independent and related to recent changes Zazzle has made under the hood. When there’s a problem with view counts, it’s generally fixed in a few days.  Yet indexing persists as a long term issue.

As far as the movement of earnings from pending to cleared, until several days ago that has happened like clockwork on a daily basis at the same time every morning (adjusted by dst). In the ten plus years I have been with zazzle I don’t think that’s broken down more than 1-2 times if that many, and never for such a prolonged period.  The clearing function seems to have always been independent of the other site issues.  

 Maybe Zazzle programmers are stretched too thin and they should consider hiring.

I think the entire zazzle website is lagging again, from last view, to earnings, to linkover history, to need optimize  product etc....

Same here. Current total balance has been the same for at least 3 or 4 days (minus the currency shifts).

Any update on when this will be fixed? 
This really prevents many creators from using their "cleared balances" to make Christmas purchases from other creators. Seems like Z would like that additional business, but maybe not. 
(or is that the point of this happening right NOW..... in the midst of the shopping season and cyber sales)

Mine hasn't cleared since my November check was cut, so I'm assuming it froze at that point and when it adjusts we'll get everything from the November check cut-off through to caught up?

I’m in the same situation as everyone else here, but I just had my sales from 11/5 officially 'cleared.'

I completely understand how something like this could happen during a busy period, and I don’t mind the delay itself. What’s frustrating, however, is the lack of communication from Zazzle about the issue.

Same! Had a bunch clear this morning. I do find the comms to be lacking but didn’t know if there’s typically a Zazzle seller reach out in these instances. I’m fairly new to doing this regularly. Is this typical?

Yay! Mine finally began to clear this morning. It had been uncleared since 11/6/24. Just takes patience.

I still have some earnings that have not cleared from early Nov. For example from November 4th - 12th, some have cleared and some have not. it makes no sense to me. Can someone from Zazzle please explain?

I didn't look until just now, but the exact same thing has happened to me in the exact same time frame.  Some have cleared and some have not, November 5th-12th.
