I can't create Foam board. There is some error when i publish it.

I too can’t create Foam Board; there is some error when I try to publish. Clicking on items in my browsing history to try to locate the products, I have managed to get some URLs for the two Foam Boards I tried to publish. The last digits (PID codes) are 256763425301315519 and 256662102859687137                     

The Foam Board products are not going into the store back-end although they are recreating in Saved Designs when I try to retrieve them, as often happens just by opening a product. Also, the Marketplace Department near the bottom of the screen appears wrong (not the intended destination) when I am trying to retrieve the Foam Board products. I am just encountering technical problems that prevent me from publishing Foam Board (I am not seeing some error on other product). FoamBoardErrorMessage.jpg

Same problem, I created 5 times same foam board, I get emails that the product is posted, but it’s not appearing in my store. I have also a terrible delay with products showing up in their categories.

Hi all, 

I have tested this on my end and was able to create and publish a Foam Board without any issue. Is this ongoing for any of you? If so please let us know.

Hi Emma, thanks for looking into, however it is still ongoing for me. When I try to post a Foam Board, I am still getting the red error message telling me something went wrong. I have managed to locate a PID code for the Foam Board: 256503767079704348

My Foam Board 256763425301315519 has now appeared in the store back-end, however the Marketplace Department is showing as “Office & School > Promotional Products & Small Business Supplies > Signs & Posters > Posters & Prints”, rather than the intended Marketplace Department that I selected, “Weddings > Décor & Party Supplies > Décor > Wedding Signs > Seating Charts”.

My Foam Board 256662102859687137 has still not appeared in the store back-end (although several seating chart Posters (on Paper) that I have posted since have gone into the store back-end successfully, virtually straight away as usual).

Since posting this a few moments ago, my Foam Board 256662102859687137 has appeared in the store back-end, although the Marketplace Department showing at the bottom of the screen is not the one I selected.

Yes I get an error when trying to post for sale. But then in the backend the board will just show up after about 24 hours. 

it’s solved, the foam boards are there again!

Mine still aren't showing up in my public storefront. They appear on the back end, but if I sign out they disappear.

Nope, not fixed for me. Same red "something went wrong" error box when I try to publish a foam board.

I am having the same issue. I get the error message something went wrong. It does not show up in my shop backend, but if I reload the page, while it is still at the publish product page, it shows the product was created. I just can't see them published in the store backend anywhere. This is one of the products created.

Same problem here. I get the red "something went wrong" error. something-went-wrong.png

They don't show up either in the back end or in my saved designs.

I thought (hoped) that maybe the problem had to do with the fact that I had started with a previously published board to create the new template. So I tried again, this time starting completely from scratch, but got the same error. 

I'm using Windows 10 and Edge.

I am having the same problem again. I just made another foam board and got the red pop up alert, that said something went wrong. This is an example, but it isn't showing up in the back-end of my shop.

My foam boards take 24 hrs to show up in the back-end of the store, but they are not visible on the public storefront and not visible to customers.

Mine are showing up in collections when I'm signed out, but I can't find them in my public storefront or when searching the marketplace. Maybe they're just taking a few days to get indexed?

Adding another update. It's now May 30 and they're still not in my public storefront. I think this is something more than an indexing issue.

I have been experiencing this for a couple of days too.  Other products publish fine, but the foam core boards won't publish and I encountered the same message when attempting to edit one on the backend too.  Was still happening as of last night.

Same is happening to me. This is definitely an issue that hasn't been fixed.

Something went wrong message can't post my wedding seating chart? 

The good news is it seems to still be posting them, but has a very long delay time... Hopefully this glitch will be fixed soon as super frustrating! Also so impatient I too now have multiples showing up 😬

@dmboyce This is really bad timing since it's wedding season and I've got panicked brides contacting me about their seating charts every day. I did find a workaround this morning, but I'm not sure if it will work in all situations.

I was transferring the customer's customized design from a poster to a foam core board, I went to publish it (as a private design) and got the error. BUT, I went into my saved designs and was able to find it there, so I opened the saved design (which at this point said "designed by ZingerBug" - my store, not "designed by you" which indicates that on some level it was published.) I then sent the customer a share link to the product (clicking on the link icon and copying the link from the top box.) The customer placed the order and I got the royalty.

Whew! What a mess!

I think this is happening again. I keep getting "Something went wrong" error when I try to post a tshirt. I have checked and nothing is wrong with it. Can you help please?

I think it's fixed, I was just able to publish one!!! There was great rejoicing!!

The ones I created during the "problem period" still aren't showing up in my public storefront though:
