Not sure if this is related or not to people saying tags/titles are not updating, so I thought I'd make a separate topic.
I have updated a product in the back end, hit enter and verified the product says last modified [today's date] ....only to return to working an hour later to find the item's modified date has reverted to a former day (not today's).
Has anyone else seen this in the back end? This has happened many times, so I know it isn't that I'm cuckoo. 😝
Anyone?

When I read your note, I made a test, so that I could let you know if this was happening to me too. And now I have zero idea which product or products I tested, lol. So, I am posting a product here which I have just updated and maybe I can remember to check back in a few days to see if the modified date has stuck or not. Should say modified on Feb 17.

I should have noted...it's complicated by the fact that it doesn't seem to happen all the time.
Thanks for the test!

You are right. I checked my posted product and this one DID work correctly. I have given up on checking to see if things update, because so often they do not. And who has the time? So I have taken to creating a product, posting it, and if there is any change needed immediately after posting, I just start a new product and delete the one with the error, because I can't be bothered keeping spread sheets and checking up on work I have already done, just to make sure the work I did on tags, title and description has taken effect.

That's a great strategy for new products..but what if you want to change stuff on some old ones? 😟

Hey @Caprice,
I'm sorry to hear about this issue. Could you provide a link to one of your designs exhibiting this error? Can you also confirm when you last modified this example?
Thank you,
Pádraig 🙂

Hi @Pádraig
Here's an example: I added a tag to this today (2/19) - but the last modified date still says 1/26...at least right now (Sat nite). Most last modified dates change immediately to today's date, visible to us in the backend. Other times, even when it accepts/saves new tags, the last modified doesn't change.

@Pádraig Now (Sunday) I see that the date has updated. It's simply a mystery to me that some show the new date immediately, and for others, it takes hours/days.

Hi Padraig - Below is an example for you. At 5 pm on 2/21 I updated some tags, and you can see the last modified updated. Shortly after (around 6 pm)..the item shows up in my store's back end with the last modifed reverted to 1/28.
