The products I made yesterday are showing last viewed : 1,025 years, and 4 months ago.
Pretty sure I wasn't doing Zazzle then...or ya know...anything. Kind of funny, but it's sure to affect visibility of my products.

Some of my products say "optimization needed" even though they were viewed days ago.

Yeah, it's happening to me too. I thought I was tripping out for a second, so I rushed here to see if I was the only one.

ha ha ha, very funny, @glitterandchic !
I'm getting the same, please see attached screen shots. Not sure that there is anything unique or in common with the particular products that show this date. I could not come up with any.
Thank you!

I have the same wonky "last sold" dates. I sorted by Last Sold and everything that has actually sold had an accurate date. The wonky 12/31/0999 stuff is only being applied to products that have never sold.

and now as soon as the bot see them it will hide them and kick them from their place in the marked place and zazzla could have avoided this if they BATA test ALL updates like every other site does ...

After looking more closely at these, it seems it is for products with 0 views.

Do you usually get views on so many recent products like this? because I don't and another screenshot I saw has the same pattern and I think it's related. For some days, a lot of products got up to 10 views out of nowhere the same or next day they were created. Very strange

Not really. Most of the immediate views are most likely mine - going back to the products for promotion on social media, etc.

I don't think it's that. All screenshots from people show the same pattern. I know I didn't promote any product I created the past few days yet they got overnight 5-10 views. I think they should look into this as it was happening days prior to the 1025 years ago stats problem.

I published new products and this weird view count appeared on 3 that actually stayed in store backend; all the other 15 products disappeared. Whatever is in saved images, goes to a "oops, can't find your product."
Optimization triangles randomly appeared on all the products in whatever a store category where I published a new product on everything else. Like I did a Xmas postcard, which vanished, but every holiday card has a red triangle now when it didn't this morning. Like that.
Plus the weird view count on what stayed I that I made this morning. Very peculiar. Happening to lots of us.

Suggest everyone Look at all your products, not just the zero views. Mine say last sold 12/31/0999. Every last one.
My zero views say 1025/4 just like yours. Really wish 1) z would hire better coders and 2) buy some new servers. Used to be that when, on a Mac, the internal battery went to the battery charger in the great beyond, that the computer would set to 1999, if memory serves. But that’s been many batterys ago.
I strongly suspect that our discussion yesterday where mod Fiona said they would check into it, brought this mess on. topic—-Is Optimization sorting working properly?
<https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/is-optimization-sorting-working-properly/m-p/205470>
I did not work on my shops today, so that to me is not part of the equation. This confubble seems to revert back to yesterday and mod Fiona.
and one last thing, having these fiascos happen almost every Friday, z how about having an emergency it tech team to cover weekends.
just for twisted fun, I used the useless virtual assistant, reported the details clearly, requested that it tech be immediately notified to fix the issues, and was given links to tutorials on how to create a product. I ended up the chat, and a review popped up, of course I gave it, when given my choices, terrible. Because it was, useless.

Totally. Why anyone would release anything like this on a Friday at 4pm is beyond me. (Unless you have someone who can actively sit there and work on it until it is fixed, weekend or not.)

At first I thought it was just older products but upon closer inspection designs I just listed a few days ago also have the last sold date of 12.31.0999. The ones that say they are 1025 years old duplicate themselves and appear in the front of the products on the backend if you try to change a title or tag but still show the weird dates even though they list themselves in the newest sort order after they have duplicated themself because you change something in their description.

I saw this on one product in one of my shops, so I looked at my other shops, too, and it appears to be on EVERYTHING posted after April 20. (In my main shop, that's about 140 products. In the one I add new stuff to the least often, nothing is messed up.)

I am also having the 1025 years 4 months problem, but it is only on products that have zero views. Also, when I filter for "Optimization Needed" under Product Visibility, a bunch of products come up that don't actually need optimizaton. Quite a few of them are products that have actually sold, so they shouldn't be appearing in the optimization section. I have 2 stores, and I am experiencing the same problems in both of them.

I have the same problem. Many products have 'Last Viewed Date: 1025 years, 4 months' and 'Last Sold Date: 12/31/0999', plus I listed one product today but it's showing up as three in the backend.

It's happening here too but the t-shirt from 5/30 only shows the 12/31/0999 and not the 1,025 years ago thing so I am not sure if it is only on paper products or not. Today's new items appear to have the correct stats.

The 1025 years only shows on products after a certain time. It took several hours for that to appear on my new ones.

Are people having problems with products created yesterday or today? I'm trying to decide if it's even worth it to do any work right now, or maybe just take the rest of the weekend off and wait until all of this is resolved...

Personally, I'm still uploading products, I don't think it's a big deal, just some technical issue that makes the dates show that way, things like this happen, I'm pretty sure they're going to fix it.

Today in one of my stores I got an error in some products that they were last viewed 1025 years ago. Does anyone have information about a similar error?

It seems to have cleared up a bit, but it flagged several products as hidden because of the last view date being a millennium ago.

I never come in this section of forum, but this was crazy.
"Last Viewed Date: 1025 years, 5 months ago"
Do they automatically get de-listed?
