@Mark Is it possible to please get an update on this? From what I can see it's been at least 15+ hours since anything has indexed, the last items indexed were created on 8/23/24 around 4:30pm. We are about 6 days behind now, so I'm wondering, is Zazzle only indexing once a week now?

I’m new on zazzle and was wondering how long it usually takes for listings to be indexed. I’m actually glad to see I’m not the only one with big delays, but what’s the average indexing time when everything is running well?

@karab It's difficult to say exactly. Officially it's 48-72 hours - nothing is ever immediate (you'll learn to wear a hat of patience like I do )

When the site is slow at indexing - it can take longer (which is what we're going through now)

Engineering is aware I believe and a fix is on the list

I'm having the same issue too!  I'd really like to be able to make and post some new holiday items, but am worried I might be doing a lot of work for nothing.  When I contacted customer support through chat last week, they just said that it might take up to 2 weeks for products to show.  But, now I know it's not just me - it's a much larger issue.  Hope they get this fixed soon!!!

In addition to the indexing being extremely behind, the whole process seems really messed up. I made a product on 8/28/24 and it indexed the same day. I've made other products as far back as 8/24/24 that have not indexed yet. I see other people's products that have been indexed in the last day, and they were made up to two days after mine. I've tried the "modifying" trick that used to work and get the products indexed, but it didn't help, my products still will not index. I've done different product searches in the marketplace, and some products were indexed in the last day, but now nothing new has been indexed again for at least close to 24 hours. In addition, when I was checking the "Newest" sort for various product types, I'm seeing products that were created on 8/24/24 that are being indexed in the completely wrong categories and it's not creator error. For example, doing a general marketplace search for "card" and sorting by newest, I see a wallet created on 8/24/24. The word "card" is not in the title, description or tags, and it was published by the creator in the correct category, so I have no idea why it's showing up under a search for "card". I also saw a hand fan created on 8/24/24 in the card search, it also does not have "card" in the title, description or tags and it was also published in the correct category. I've seen several other products in other searches that don't belong where they've been indexed, and in the few I checked, it wasn't creator error either. I honestly don't understand how the indexers can skip products and randomly put products in wrong categories. Indexing has been an ongoing issue for several years, but it's just this year that it seems to be an issue every week and sometimes every few days. It really is frustrating and it's crazy making that it never seems to truly get fixed.

Looks like our poor little constipated Zazzle is finally starting to go again! I'm seeing stuff from the 29th now has been indexed. Just a little more to go!

My 7/31 products updated in the marketplace then disappeared and still don't show up when I type in the tags. They did show up when I type in the title, then they disappeared again.

The title is "Patriotic American Flag Return Address Labels" That showed up then disappeared.

The tag is "american flag return address labels". That doesn't show up

My August products still haven't posted.

I have the same issue and thought I was going crazy! I have several products that I had to update - everything was posted for sale on Sept 4th but nothing is indexed yet. Is there a reason why this isn't automatic? Normally on other platforms like Redbubble and SocietySix - once you submit it's live instantly.

It's live instantly here, too. Once you successfully publish it (and get the links to share or view your item on the confirmation page)  you can add that item to your website/blog and/or share the link & promote the item. It's live & accessible to anyone with the link, it just hasn't been "indexed" yet for inclusion in Search or your public storefront. So it's live and available to purchase, people just won't be able to stumble on it accidentally until it's "indexed".

@Mark Same here. Some products from 9/1 haven't been indexed, and the later ones aren't either.
