Metal Keychain - Rectangle shows different size/shape

I was transferring some designs over to the metal keychains and noticed something odd. If I transfer directly to the rectangular keychain, I get a wide shape. If I transfer to the square keychain, then attempt to change it to the rectangular, it gives me a long skinny shape like the acrylic one.

Same thing happens if you start from scratch so not connected to the transfer process.

Added a background behind my graphic to make it easier to see.

Never mind. Noticed today as I was transferring another one that there are two sizes of rectangle offered. The transfer process just shows a different one depending on what I picked first. Sheesh.

I'm seeing the same thing ... if we have two different size rectangular keychains that we offer shouldn't both be visible when transferring or creating?

Hi @MasterpieceCafe,

I can see the acrylic and metal rectangle keychains when transferring and creating from scratch. Can you provide an example of the error you're seeing on your side so that I can get a better sense of what the issue may be?

Thank you for your patience!

I was able to create these two metal rectangle keychains. They are different sizes. When you transfer all 4 metal keychain options are there. Square, circle and both rectangles. But on the product page there is only one rectangle option?

This one is 2.25" x 1.6"

This one is  1.25" x 3"

Hi @MasterpieceCafe,

When creating or transferring these metal keychains, the rectangle keychain is displayed twice, one in size 2.25" x 1.6" and the other in 1.25" x 3". There is only one rectangle option available on the product page but it is available in two sizes. The other rectangle options that appear when creating or transferring are acrylic which are a different product type.

I hope that helps. If I have missed something or you have any more questions don't hesitate to let me know.

I don't understand why both metal rectangular keychains aren't available on the product pages? Shouldn't customers be able to switch to the other rectangular size just as they can switch to the square and circle?

I realize the acrylic keychains are a different product.

Hey @MasterpieceCafe,

I'm not sure if there is a reason for this. It is the same for the premium round and square options. I'm happy to take note of this for our team for you however, I don't believe there to be a technical error present here.

Thank you for your patience!

omg ... I finally see it!

UNDERNEATH the rectangle option it says "sizes" (I know you said that, it just wasn't registering with me).

I think it makes more sense to have both rectangular metal keychains as an option visually. The different sizes with the metal rectangles are also technically different shapes. The different sizes under the premiums are just large vs small.

Sorry for the confusion here @MasterpieceCafe. Perhaps I should have clarified but I was responding under the assumption you were referring to the "sizes" menu too 🤣 Again, happy to pass along the feedback to the team.

All the best,

Pádraig 🙂

Thanks! I wasn't seeing the different rectangles as different sizes, only as different shapes.

I'm sure I'm not the only one making this mistake. Visually it would be much easier to see both keychain options as images. 20% of the population is dyslexic and IMO not having a visual representation of both shapes could be affecting sales.
