Missing "Sell It" button on a mousepad design

I'm trying to add a mousepad that I designed to my new store. When I open the user menu and select Saved Designs, then select the mousepad, I get the private product page with "Add to Cart" and "Edit Design" buttons, but no "Sell It" button.

I also tried going to my store page, selecting the Products tab, and clicking "Create new product." This takes me to the blank product catalog. I can scroll to the bottom to find the mousepad in "Recently Views Items," but this just goes to the product page without a "Sell It" button. I don't want to recreate this design from scratch because I ordered a test print and would prefer to sell this exact design.

I was able to follow similar steps to add the poster version of my design to the store, so I have seen the "Sell It" button at least once. It just isn't showing up for the mousepad.

Based on previous forum discussions on this topic, I have tried signing out and signing back in, clearing cookies, and using a different browser.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

@dddaaannn have you used any icons or 'popular backgrounds' from the Design tool this may stop it from being posted for sale. These are for customer use only.

edited to add - if it's not seeing a layer - that may stop it from selling too. I've just tried to create a magnet with just a background and it wouldn't sell. If I added text - the sell button appeared - if I add my own artwork on another layer - the sell it button appears so check whether your artwork is on a layer

If you haven't, it helps the tech team to post the link from your saved designs so they can investigate.

Bear in mind it's Saturday, and they won't be back until Monday

Thanks Sara_H! You got it in one! It was indeed a layer-related issue. My design is a single image that I produced in an art program positioned to cover the entire printing area (including bleed), and I didn't have a background layer set. It would let me buy it in this state, but it wouldn't let me sell it. I added a black background and now I can sell it.

Zazzle is a funky collection of components.
