Neck Tie Back View Error

I created a few ties that have a design on the front but not on the back. However, the back product view shows the design from the front cut off on the skinny part of the tie which looks terrible. This occurs when I have a solid color for the back and when the back is left transparent/blank. I guess the skinny part in the back view is actually a continuation of the front. Is this a weird quirk by design that occurs because the skinny side of the tie is not available to design on in the Design Tool?

It looks awful in any case.

Here are a couple PIDs with the issue:

I checked someone else's ties that came up below and saw the same display issue on the back view.

This has been happening since double sided ties became available.

It should definitely be addressed by Zazzle.

Hey @Claire,

Thank you for flagging these examples of this issue. I have passed them on to the team now.

I am trying to make a necktie with a single image on the front, however in the back view, this image is showing up on the back too.  It looks like this was an issue last year and that it was flagged, however it has not been fixed.  I don't think customers will buy this if the tie looks wonky in the display, even if it prints correctly.  Thank you for addressing this.

I’ve been having this issue for a long time.  This didn’t used to happen.  I have a design on the front but just the background color on the back.  But the front design is showing up on the back even though there is nothing there.  Will these print this way?  I’m afraid to post these in my shop as the customer will think that I messed up by placing that on the back.  I sell quite a few ties.  This needs to be addressed.  It’s been going on a long time!

It depends on what you mean by "back".
In the product previews, this view is labeled "Back".

But it's just the yellow that is actually the back of the tie. The skinny blue part w/ polkadots is half of the front folded over.

This older thread from last year  may help you visualize it better.
