No 'credit' for views from the mobile app?...

I noticed that items viewed via the mobile app don't appear to reflect those stats in our store management.... given that Z is encouraging people to use the app, those stats are used to determine items that are hidden and may well have an effect on market placement, it seem like mobile app views should definitely be recorded somehow...
