Opening a product on a new tab

Issue: Opening a product using right click selection: "Open Link on New Private Tab", opens the product but account is not signed in.

I don't know anything about Safari, but in Edge (Windows) there are several choices: Open in New Window (or Tab) vs. Open in New InPrivate Window. If I choose one of the first two it opens in a new tab or window and I'm still signed in, but if I choose the InPrivate window I'm signed out in the new window. Maybe Safari works similarly?
