During the photo "Fill" change several photos in my product templates were defaulted to "None" when they had previously been set to "Fill" or "Fit" in the image settings. I didn't notice it at first until previously best-selling products have started experiencing order returns and my sales in general dropped off coinciding with the photo settings changes. Someone in another forum section mentioned it could also have happened with the sizing changes.
Since my customer base is a very small niche, I panicked and began to redesign my best selling products to conform to the new "Fill" setting but I am quickly realizing how huge a task this is going to be. Unfortunately in this panic I also deleted some of my best sellers and the reviews along with them 😞 I am so sorry about this.
- Is there any way to restore any of my deleted products? (If not, I can rebuild them all over time)
- Is there any way to set the template images in existing products of my stores to the new default "fill" setting so that I don't have to do it manually? (If not, I can redesign them all over time)
- If the two above are not an option, is there any way to enable the "replace product" feature on my stores to make this complete redesign process a little easier?
Thank you for any help or advice!

The replace product feature is really a critical features to designers. Those of us who do not have that feature—including me—are at a real disadvantage. This tip won’t help you restore your deleted products, but next time just hide the product until you find a solution and unhide it if you find a fix. So sorry this has happened to you.

Oh no, I daren't even check mine, my 'none' relate to logos which they MUST be set to. I hope they haven't all gone up in smoke 😞 . I'm sorry you've experienced it and well spotted.

Hope yours are all okay! I didn't want to look either. Only caught it because (first) there were a few order cancellations recently on my best sellers, which was unusual - and then (second) I was working on promotional media images and couldn't get my own previously working templates to work 😱

Can you link me to some of your products that contain images that are not set to fill? Yesterday I saw one of your previous posts and took a quick look through your store and noticed all your products were set up just fine.

Hi Scott,
Yes, here is one example. So what happens is when the user tries to customize from the product page, the first image switch seems to work. But if you keep playing with different images by the 2nd or 3rd one the template blows out completely.

It shouldn't need to be masked. If it's set to "fill," the borders of the original image are supposed to act like a mask.
