I tried all the items in solution on post to the question about not being able to transfer products and it still does not work. When I click on transfer design under actions of already made items it opens the generic customer Personalized Custom Gifts page. I tried adding to items from this new layout/page but it just brings up a blank item with no image. This is really a problem. Please put the original link back (to transfer this design at the bottom of actions drop down menu) so we can work on designs. This is working fine from my end. When the page comes up with product options, scroll down the page until you get to a grid of blank products. Pick one of those. Don't click on one of the links at the top of the page.

It is all my products and I am not the only one experiencing it. When creating in the back end using the pull down menu under an item that is made when trying to transfer the design it takes you to the design area for people in general to make a product from scratch. I want to transfer my design not make a product from scratch like I was visiting the site. It should be a simple fix. Replace the link for transferring designs in the back end to the original transfer page. It did bring up a picture of the design you want to transfer along with all the items it can go onto. When you open the item you want, your design is on the item and your information is filled into the sell area. Now each item has to be made using a new image and all the sections have to be filled in over and over again. It is so much easier if you only have to change a few tags and parts of a description. I usually have a few sales by now but today is the first in a long time when I did not make a single sale. It is really frustrating.

Up until yesterday i could transfer my pictures onto other items without having to put in all details. But now it does not work. I have to start a new item and put in all details. So the transfer to other item link does not work

Having the same issue - transfer feature is not working for a while now. It came back to work for few days. Now it's back to not working. Can someone please, please fix this. The time it takes to manually transfer the designs, type the tags and etc. could be used to focus on creating.

Same issue- for the past couple of days cannot transfer a design to another product. I have tried different designs transferring to different products and every time the design comes up blank, having me start from scratch. Is Zazzle working to fix this issue?

They have not even acknowledged there is a problem let along fix it. I've reach out to them on twitter to no avail. Having just came back to Zazzle if this is how they run things, thank goodness I have other POD to fall back on 😉

I sent email to technical and made two posts here. I was asked to send a link to show them what is happening. There is no link. I sent the one to the page that does open which is of little help when working and is not organized in anyway to make it easy. I wish I would have saved the page because they obviously have no idea what is missing. They should be able to go back before the last update they did and see what link was connected to the 'transfer this design' under the action menu in our backend and put it back. I am not a computer tech but I have worked enough with coding to know this is relatively a simple problem to solve. Does anyone have the link to the old page that came up when transferring designs. I don't know if it would work or why anyone would have saved it but maybe we could get it put back. It would be specific for the design you were using so I don't know if you could even have saved it. FYI - For the Z tech team this is a photo of where this problem is originating from

I had the link bookmarked for a few years…and it always worked. I tried to go direct to it today and it takes me to the new page (that customers would see to make a product from scratch - not the one that we use). I’m guessing the URL is the same & just redirected. I don’t remember what it used to be.

It doesn't work for me and the transfer this design is at the top of the item page under more options. That link opens up to create a design (from scratch) - be prepared for it to start happening to you soon. I hope not but I find I am usually one of the first people to run into these sitewide problems.

just thinking about when this transfer issue started happening, around the morning/start of day on 3/10…wondering why these issues seem to pop up at the same time as site maintenance. Could there be a correlation?
That might be why these issues happen just before the weekend. And of course we have to wait till the next workday (worse if a holiday weekend) for a response and then a fix by tech for the problem. With 22 posts and over 275 views on this thread, zazzle is definitely aware.
BTW end of day 3/12 transfer still not working.

Yes that sounds like why these problems happen. Perhaps they should have someone around until all the bugs are fixed after updates. The thing that bothers me is that no one is answering from Zazzle regarding the issue. They seem to be putting all their resources into instant downloads for invitations. Time to work on clocks.

As of today, 3/12/23 - I am also having the same issue. Unable to transfer any designs - which includes images, text and product information (description, tags etc). I have to open an existing product and copy everything manually - which is time consuming and also counts toward the product view count / last viewed date because I have to click on it as a customer would - and I don't want my metrics screwed up. I'm adding this to the list of problems that I, and others, have been asking to have fixed for months with no solution - such as product grouping not taking place, tons of saved designs that I can't delete, requested royalty rates on digital downloads not being adhered to, and more. Every day I hop on here and try to improve my store and I just hit another setback. End rant.

As of this afternoon 3/12, transfer design is still not working for everyone,you are not alone. It might have started working for others, but not yet for everyone affected, including me. the transfer opens to a blank product, instead of the normal behavior of the transfer function adding the image to the chosen product, and it’s downhill from there., as you described.
Hopefully tech will fix it tomorrow when their workday begins, since they are fully aware. Unless the fix has already been seen to and indexing is wiggling it’s way down the road to all the shops..

Hey Everyone,
I'm the Community Manager here, but I'm also on the QA team. I've been speaking with the engineer who will be fixing this issue, and we hope to have this completed very soon. We've figured out the cause of the issue, so it's just a matter of updating functionality so that this is working again.
Apologies for the issues here. I'll provide an update when I have one. Until then, I'd like to ask that everyone just sit tight and hold off on contacting Customer Support about this. All that does is tie up the phone lines, make the email queues a bit longer, and add more emails/messages to my plate. It's less work for all of us to just watch this space. 🙂
