It's been asking me to Press and Hold today for no good reason. Several times. Like if I go off the site for a minute, then come back. Or go to the drop down to pick which store I want to look at. Other random times. Anyone else?

Further update 3/25 8:40pm pst:
Using an iMac. OS Monterey, version 12.7.2
Safari, signed in – press & hold
Chrome, not signed in – press & hold
Firefox, not signed in – press & hold
Yesterday on Chrome & Firefox there were no issues. No wonder I had such a bad sales day today. I'm sure would be customers are getting this as well.
Please fix! Can a moderator please respond?

Yes. I have Chrome on iPad and have never had this press and hold thing ever, and have never had a single captcha check since I logged out of Gmail and stayed logged out. I am not sure if that is what helped me but it seems to me that these checks started popping up a few years back when Zazzle made it possible to log in to Zazzle through a Gmail account. I read that might be the problem and logged out and never logged back in. Which does make it hard to do certain things on this iPad, but to me, it's worth it not to have the constant trouble with the checks.

I don't log into Zazzle via gmail. And on the other 2 browsers, I wasn't even logged in. I never have logged into Firefox on my account. And everything was fine yesterday.

Do you have Gmail? Are you logged in to Gmail? I have Gmail, and I use it, but I never ever ever log in to Gmail on this iPad.

Yes, I use gmail but until yesterday/day before there was never an issue. This is some sort of bug.

FYI, press & hold hasn't appeared at all today on all 3 browsers (Safari, Chrome & Firefox) on my computer. Hopefully the bug is fixed?

It just did it when I refreshed my store page from where I'd left it last night (logged in, just left it open all night, like I often do). So, we'll see.

Thanks Beth. I'll try to do a screenshot next time, but really, it just the Press and Hold to prove you're not a robot thing. It just did to me again, TWICE. I had gone off the site for a half hour or so, came back and decided to refresh the page I was on (one of my stores), and it made me Press and Hold. When I'd done it, it made me do it again. Then the page refreshed. Weird. Everything else is ok.

@Beth thanks for responding. I don't want to jinx anything but it's not coming up for me anymore since yesterday on all 3 of my browsers. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. But when I was having issues, the screen snap that @pencilcat posted was the same thing I got. (over & over & over)

I recently had this issue as well. It got so bad that it happened almost every time I clicked on something on a Zazzle page. Once it happened while I was designing something in the design tool and I lost all my changes.
I was able to solve the Press and Hold issue by clearing my browser cache. In general, when I clear my cache I like to be website specific so I don't wipe out info for other websites. For the steps for site specific clearing, try Googling 'Clear site specific cookies and cache [Your browser name]'.

@Frances-Creates I cleared my cashe after I read your post. Sadly, it didn't work. (I'm on Safari, on an iMac) And I went to Zazzle using Chrome, which I hadn't opened since this all started again, not signed in at all & I got "press & hold" there, as well. Same deal as when this happened a few weeks ago.
Can a moderator please look into this? Thank you.

I have been getting the "Press and Hold" issue as well. I am on an iMAC with Safari. Cleared the browser cache and cookies, even restarted and still get the "Press and Hold". Also get it on my iPad with Safari.

Can a moderator please respond to this. It's not getting any better & I few times in the past day or two it's rejected me & I had to "press & hold" 2 or 3 times in a row to get it to work. Again, I already cleared my cache. On a iMac with Safari. Also the same deal using both Chrome & Firefox, where I'm NOT signed in. Thank you.
Again, this 1st started around the end of last month (see posts above), lasted for a few days, went away on its own (& I did not clear my cache that time), then started again on 4/6. This is very hard to work this way. Please fix.

Yeah, forgot to say I cleared my cache too a while back. It made no dif. It made me do it again logging in here, and does it pretty much whenever I go off the Z site (still logged in) for a short while. Irritating, for sure.

Update 5/2/24:
STILL happening. It actually went away 2 or 3 days ago for about a day (did NOTHING extra/special to my computer) & then returned yesterday. I'm on an iMac, Monterey 12.7.4. Still happens on all 3 of my browsers (Safari, Chrome & Firefox) whether I'm signed in or not. When it was not showing up at all for a day, it did not show up on those 3 browsers. My cache has been cleared. Since it went away for a day or so all by itself, I really don't think it's on my end.
Please, someone respond already?

I’ve had the same problem yesterday and today on my windows pc. Using chrome it asks me to press and hold which I do, gives me a tick and then straight away asks me to press and hold so scant access the site at all.
Switch browser to Firefox and it at least just asks me once, gives me the tick and then lets me use the site for a while.
Switch to Microsoft Edge and don’t seem to get it.

Are other's having this same problem? This Press and Hold is driving me crazy! For about a week now it keeps popping up on both my devices Android smartphone and Samsung laptop, while I'm doing things in my Zazzle store. Can hardly get through anything when it comes on again and again....! I haven't had that nonsense happen here in a pretty long time (from annoying captcha images, or press and hold), but now the Press and Hold is back and is a constant! No other major shopping sites that I've browsed and made purchases from over the years does this. It's very annoying, and while the press and hold is way better than having to select those terrible non-stop captcha pictures, it is still very annoying. I would not stay on a store website that made me do this even one time while browsing looking for items to add to my shopping cart. Please look into why this keeps happening many times each day now while on my Zazzle store. If this same thing has been happening to customers coming to the Zazzle website over the years, whether them having to select non-stop pop-up images or the press and hold, then I can't see many having the patience to keep doing that... just to browse or shop to make purchases via the Zazzle Marketplace, and most if not all, would probably just leave and shop elsewhere. Please look into this and also making it so none of this ever pops-up on the Zazzle Marketplace store site! It would make for a more enjoyable and stress-free designing, and shopping experience! Again, no other store site I've ever shopped on over the years does this, and if they did they'd lose many customers. Thank you.
