Problems moving Products to Categories by using the bulk drop down option

I’ve been cleaning up products that are in a bad category currently.  A couple problems are showing up.

1.  First thing I did was make new categories for the items I’m moving.  That seems to work pretty much as expected.  BUT when I finally move stuff into the category, nothing shows up there.  It’s empty.  And I have tried it by bulk and individually so that’s not the issue.

2. A few of the new categories I created will not show up in the list of categories selection.  So when moving a product, either single, or by bulk that new category I want to move to is not showing as a selection.  Though if I go to the far left menu it’s “all categories” they show up.

3.  Products that I “can” move even though they don’t display in the actual category, they maintain the new category when checked again by editing them.  So that’s sticking at least.

does it take awhile to categories to sort themselves out, or is this a bug that never fixes itself?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched for it, but most seem old, or a slight variation not exactly what I’m seeing.

Thanks, Rick

It takes time for products to populate to new categories (at least a couple of days I've found) and also takes time for new categories to appear in the store front.

Create them, fill them up and wait for the site to catch up. It will happen eventually

Patience is key when you're a zazzler

Thanks!   I wish there was a hint, or help pop up that told us things like that when executing them.  Stuff like that makes Zazzle very frustrating compared to other POD sites.
