Product cover video remains blank

There seems to be a bug with product videos, after uploading the video area remains white when clicking on the video play button. Here is the link to the product: Funny Burned Pie Family Recipe 3 Ring Binder

I tried re-exporting and uploading again but no success.

The video has the correct duration + square resolution, I've previously successfully uploaded videos with the same specs. It was added using the media manager and I received the "Your video is ready!" notification. It works fine when playing the video offline.

Hi, everyone. It seems that Zazzle just fixed the issue. My video is working now! Yay!

Thanks, then at least I know there's not something wrong with my account or video specs.

It only seems to be video's I have uploaded recently. I checked my older one's and they seem fine.

Same Issue here as well.  It appears to be an issue with the uploader because I did a test to see if I could add a video that was uploaded in the past for another product to my new product and it worked fine. However any videos uploaded since yesterday come into the media manager blank.  Even though they are not blank in the upload area.

Yes, I have posted about this two days ago ( https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/uploading-a-video-file-not-working-correctly/m-p/13... ). I have tried with two videos which both displayed correctly on Social Media.

@James I just read the article "Videos just got a boost and are now appearing in Search" which is great. But at the moment, as you can see above this post, new product videos are not working.

@Pixelan still not working for me. It's a shame that they're pushing video creation yet this error still exists for new uploads 😞 

Hopefully it will get fixed (someday)

Some acknowledgement that they're working on it would also be nice. Was planning to spend one or two days creating product videos but maybe in the future.. It's difficult to do now since I can't see the result.

Same results for me.Got the “your video is ready “ and then I can see the top image of the video but nothing works. Also tried different sizes, and uploaded with mp4 and mov extensions. Nope. It plays correctly everywhere else but here. Since there are so many reporting issues, at least I know it is a z vid problem that tech needs to fix, not my problem.

This was my first time adding a collection video. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, or if it's the same technical issue others are experiencing.  The video appears to upload, but then only shows as a white box with no video.

 

Hi KathyB. It's probably the same technical issue we are all having, as this is the exact way the problem is displayed. It uploads the video, but when a customer clicks on it, it shows a white empty box. 

I sent an email reporting the problem to Zazzle's technical team but have not received any answer yet.

Let's hope it gets fixed soon 🙂

@TRW Give it about twenty minutes or so after adding the video to your listing. I have run into it this morning (very early). Usually it doesn’t take that long but last night/this morning it did.

Try to check on it now or in a couple more minutes.

Scratch my comment.  Maybe it just takes a few days for a video to sinc.  My video is now displaying correctly.

Not days but definitely some. It happened to me too yesterday. I deleted and uploaded the video a couple of times with the same result. Finally I thought I will post about it in this treat but than the video magically displayed correctly - about twenty minutes later. 😉
