Product search doesn't work properly and no sales

Something is strange lately. The product search doesn't work properly as someone mentioned earlier (no improvement since then). And no sales since nearly two weeks, when before at least twice a week. I guess it has to do with the customer not being able to properly search for products / keywords.

Does anybody else notice anything?

I was just about to post about this issue too. I have noticed it when trying to research sweet sixteen invitations. If my query is, for an absurd example, "sweet sixteen invitation boob" -- a search which should generate no/extremely low results, the search returns over 7000 results, and all irrelevant to that last keyword

That's exactly what i meant. I think the problem doesn't occur when search with my mobile phone. But i am not completely sure

You are right! I just did the same search on mobile phone Chrome browser, and it rightly says No results found for "Sweet sixteen invitation boob". Good to know I can continue to do product research at least on my phone

I think this is a feature and not a glitch. This sounds like a way to help customers that submit a typo or misspelled word still receive products to choose from.

I've noticed it as well trying to search for specific items with my store name and keywords it will bring up stuff from other stores that don't have any of the same tags or titles in the product that I had searched for such as the funeral card shown in the results it does not have a single title or tag that matched what I had searched for.  The business card as well doesn't match the search and nothing in it's tags was a word in my search so that's not a reason it would show up so I am confused.

oops I see 2 business cards the one that doesn't match the search terms was the chic rose the fairy one shown did match some of the search words so that one wasn't unusual to the search terms I had used.
