NOTE: This topic is a spin off from:
"Store banner has now been cropped, blown up and pixellated"
Profile and store banners are not displaying well at all browser widths. Responsive mode needs some work. See below for wide (desktop) vs narrow (mobile) modes.
Whether or not this is fixed, I would suggest Zazzle publish some image "safe frame" guidelines so we can modify our source images to ensure the important parts can always be seen at all browser widths without cutoffs or obstruction from the avatar and title text.
Profile banner: wide (desktop)
Profile banner: narrow (mobile)
Store banner: wide (desktop)
Store banner: narrow (mobile)

Hi @Dave_G
While I agree that your observations are important and valid, I think we need to wait till Z can fix the general issue that they are having with store banners and then see what happens with the responsive sizing. There is clearly something wrong at the moment so the fact that they are not displaying properly across browsers is not unexpected.
I hope this does not come off as ... over the top or snobbish, etc. It's not meant to be. I just think we need to give then time to fix the banner problem that is occurring now and then see if that also fixes the responsive part... now I'm repeating myself...lol
Cheers,
PC

On the other hand, Scott did request to @Dave_G that he post about this in this new thread, as Scott believes this to be an entirely separate issue. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/store-banner-has-now-been-cropped-blown-up-and-pixe...
I also do Postcrossing!

@PacifierCity, no problem.
I will respectfully suggest to the developers and the community moderators that banner issues are banner issues, and that I suspect the css code may be the culprit. If that is the case, then they should be able to fix all the banner problems at once. Indeed, if I were the web project manager/developer, I would make sure the banners work in every way they should before publishing any fixes.
I would further suggest to the moderators that it may be much easier on us community members looking for solutions if we didn't have to search through multiple threads to find the answers we need.

Thank you. Thought I was losing my mind as I have not been able to delete, change, or save a banner on Profile or Store for nearly a week now! Adding products to 'Collections' also not working properly. Very frustrating!

BUMP: This problem still exists.
I would like to reiterate my suggestion that Zazzle publish some image size guidelines with "safe frames" so we can modify our source images to ensure the important parts are not cropped out and can always be seen at all browser widths without cutoffs or obstruction from the avatar and title text.

Hi @Dave_G ,
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry for the delay in responding to it. I'll pass this along to our team to investigate further for now.
All the best,
Pádraig.
