Referrals from pinterest

Hi,

I posted a whole bunch of products, both my own and others affiliate links to Pinterest. The first time I posted it I got one referral so I know I posted the links right. It's been months and I have a lot of click through on pinterests end but not a single referral. I find this odd. Is there any way you could look at my account and see if it's right? I would love to do more pins but it's very time consuming and if I'm not getting affiliate percentages for it it's kinda pointless. Thanks.

This isn't really a technical problem but I think you can answer your own question.

If you are an "affilate" you will see an "rf=with a bunch of numbers at the end of your links.

If you are in the Promoter Program you would have signed up to be in the program.

Hover over one of your pins on Pinterest at that the bottom of the browser window you will see the link.

Chances are you have the "rf=number" at the end of the link. Otherwise, you would not have gotten a referral earlier.

Getting referral $'s is very hard. Your best bet is to create your own pin images and manually pin the products to your boards. Pinterest likes original pins and not so much the straight up Zazzle shared pins.
