Reporting on royalty rate change with a workaround

On a iMac, Chrome v.109, and a Samsung Android

Problem:  When changing the set royalty rates on some products in my store on my android, I found that some products I could see the rate change immediately.  Others, I could not.  So, I went to my mac, tried again, and no change.  What I read in the forums gave me the idea to open the products in a new tab, and change the rates from the edit details there.  And then the rates changed after I refreshed the backend page.  So, that's the workaround.  

It was strange that some products would change immediately and others would not though.

Evidently, it does not work all the time.  Even though, I went back to the backed to try it again, after attempts at the opened tab didn't work.   

I even got the green notification at the bottom saying it took, but it didn't.  So, smh on this one.  It took several attempts to take the change....with again, the opening product tab to edit it.  But, I don't understand why it should take this many tries to change.

Number one suspect to me—-
Try again on the same product as a test—-
then log out, clear history and cache, cookies, prefs, (probably holding on to old settings) close browser,
restart your (lovely and precious and sweet Mac,yes I’m biased since 1994) Mac,
then log in, go to the same problem product and see if that makes the royalty behave.

Hi idraw,

Not the cache/cookies, because I closed Chrome this morning before starting, and as I always do, clear my cache/cookies.  However, I'm not opposed to a good 'ol restart.  😉.  And yes, I am biased too, since 1996.  I understand your point about logging off, then on again, to see if that helps first.  

Right now, the cover images are doing about the same thing.  Randomly not sticking.  I was beginning to think it's a usual day at Zazzle...no worries, just hoped that I had found a good workaround that was sticking.

I am having this issue also. I have made multiple attempts to change the royalty rate on both digital and printed and the change is not holding on most of them. It has on a couple.
