Collections only scroll through 36 products?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design. But I just noticed that I can only scroll through the first 6 pages of a collection (while on a product page).

If customers can only scroll through 6 pages then I feel like I should rearrange some collections to make them smaller. I doubt most people will click on the collection to see more, they will just assume that is it.

I guess even more reason to have the collections resort by popularity/sales so the best are in the first 36 slots.

Please lmk if this is a bug or intentional. Thanks!

Hi @MasterpieceCafe

Thank you for highlighting this with us. Can you provide the link to the collection so that we can check it out for you? 🙂

Hi @MasterpieceCafe

Thank you so much! I've just passed all the information along to our Team and we will update you as soon as possible 🙂

Hi Roberta, I can confirm that this is happening very often, and I do agree with MasterpieceCafe that the big majority of clients do assume that is the entirety of the collection and don't go and click on the link to see the rest of it.
I receive constant questions from clients asking for coordinating products that are already part of the collection, but clients did not see them in the 6 scrolls on the collection on the product page, and never thought of clicking on the link to see the rest of the collection.
This not only affects designers but Zazzle sales as well, as they are losing a client that already liked a design by not showing the rest of coordinating products available.
As an example you can see one of my collections with 93 products, where only 35 products are displayed on product page as part of the collection. Collection link:  https://www.zazzle.com/collections/elegant_calligraphy_minimalist_wedding_stationery-119497981924462...
Thanks to MasterpieceCafe and Roberta for bringing this into Zazzle's attention 🙂

I'd rather have shoppers go to the Collection page where they can see more on the page at once, the thumbnails are bigger, the pricing & sale info is shown, and they can read the Creator's description/info about the Collection. Horizontally scrolling through innumerable smaller, priceless thumbs doesn't see very window-shopping friendly to me. I'd actually like if it didn't scroll at all and just showed six "samples" from the collection with clear wording that there's lots more if you click here to see the whole collection.

A rough idea of different, clearer wording:

I agree ... the clickable link to the full collection should be made more prominent. (the blue click link in larger/bolder text?)

Yes! I agree with both ColsCreations and BKMuir. I would also prefer if clients visit the whole collection as well, instead of browsing from a few small images. If customers could just see clearly that there is a link to the entire collection... maybe a "button" would make it obvious?  l think a blue button text box in the same style as the "Edit this Design" button, saying something like: "Visit this entire collection" would be more noticeable.

Can you confirm that the scrolling will remain at only 36? Or will you be increasing that number? I think most of my collections are larger than this so if 36 is the magic number I should probably change things.

Thanks!

This is by design, so not technically a bug.

I don't know if we plan to update our product page in the near future.

Definitely changes how I will organize collections. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated.
