Hello--I'm getting an error message when trying to upload SVG files. I was able to upload one or two, then began getting an error message saying "Files could not be uploaded--server error." PNG files and JPG files upload fine. I've been trying to create wallpaper, so scalable images are necessary. Anyone else getting this error message?

I already had it in the past, I thought it was because my SVG files were too big and complex to be managed by Zazzle, but I might be wrong as I never asked Zazzle directly. Vector Graphics Files are quickly complex because they do not contain pixels but mathematic data encoded, it means that the viewer used to display them must be able to interpret and handle these data to create the final view. I guess it can use a lot of computing resources if they are too big.
Nevertheless, when I upload basic SVG files ( like shapes or frames) , it works fine.

Hi, I was able to upload a few SVG files, then got the error message. Today, no error message, but all I'm getting is a transparency--the gray & white checkerboard. I don't think it's the file size.

Many types of elements can be saved within the SVG format, but not everything that is SVG is true vector, which is what the Zazzle SVG format seems to prefer. SVGs with rasterized elements will fail. Clipping masks are not supported. Avoid incredibly complex curves such as the ones that might result from "vectorizing" an image.
If the SVG file size is big, it is probably not pure vector.
All that said, weird upload problems can happen. log out. clear cache. etc. and then try again.
