Hi there ! I have my products organized in categories and would like to change these categories. However, when I asign my products to different categories, they remain in their current categories. Also, when I try to remove products from "featured products", nothing happens, they stay in the featured products. This is making me lose sales a lot as my store page is disorganized. Could somebody help me please?

Hi leamelissa, If you are saying that you are moving a product from one category to a different category,in my experience, it takes time for the indexer to ‘spider’ the change. It does happen , but nothing close to immediately. I have seen it take upwards of the next day. The word ‘quickly’ is not in its vocabulary.
This also pertains to featured products, for me, removing them doesn’t seem to happen immediately, like you would expect.

It takes several days for your changes to appear, since changes need to be re-indexed.

Thank you so much ! Maybe that's it then. However, for the featured products, it's been a few weeks already. For the categories, just days indeed.

I noticed that same thing with featured products, sometimes they don't remove, even tho I have tried to remove them. My only solution is to keep trying to remove them, eventually it may work.

Thank you so much ! For me it doesn't work no matter how many times I try. I have tried getting a reply from customer service via email and phone but not yet. Does it work for you when you try to switch a product's category ?
