LOL at "stupid line" 🤣

(If it helps - the sig div has a max height of 48 px, after that it's overflow hidden.)

Yep, and apparently you cannot set a color, either, the CSS style attribute does not work. So only way is to use ASCII line/box chars which you can format with the font attribute. And btw, I was working on a reply for Shar-ken, but you were quicker and more prepared, LOL. As usual you did a great job with your signature samples 🙂

That's so funny - I also tried to use css to add a background color to my sig area!

Well, the style property is basic CSS nowadays, so that's the first formatting technique that comes to mind. They use older syntax anyway, in HTML 5 you don't use the end slash on <hr> and <br> anymore.

So strange, two original replies didn't get published. I guess I have to avoid non-family-safe jokes and expressions, LOL, that's the only explanation I have. That being said, yep, the style property is the first that comes in mind when formatting nowadays. They use older syntax anyways, looking at the end slash in <hr> and <br>.

P.S.

Since sig changes effect all existing past posts, you can just have one of your posts anywhere open, change your sig in one tab, and then refresh the other tab with the post in it to see the change immediately. Saves reposting something every time to test something. 😉

Yep number two, figured this out, too. Didn't know if it was retroactive affecting old posts and I stupid thing didn't try with refreshing. Anyway, will keep it simple for now. Working on a basic website page right now (was stuck with the idiotic privacy and GDPR nightmare which changed again this year), where I can describe my custom services, show my works and products and redirect my ads and FB + Pinterest (testing this one out, too) links. I could directly link to Zazzle products but I need the website to redirect international audience to the appropriate local Z domains if wished, to prevent my promoter cookie from getting murdered when visitors switch domain on the Zazzle page. After the basics are done, I'll add a real signature with my website + social links.

@ColsCreations It's so strange, tried a few times to reply to your CSS reply but it keeps deleting my answers. Perhaps it can't handle deeper structures. This is now a test reply to check if this assumption is right. First I thought I used "forbidden" words and got auto-deleted for that reason.
