Royalty rate adjustment period extension request

This request may have gotten lost on the other threads, but I'd really appreciate if Zazzle could give us a few more days for the rolling royalty rate adjustment. At the very least maybe can take us right up to the 20th instead of the 15th? We're navigating something entirely new here with very little to go on and just sort of starting to see how things play out in real life. It's not as clear cut as the examples. A few more days to get our heads around how this can best work for us while we wait for more transparency in our earnings reports would be helpful. Thank you!

I'd say extend that until at least a week AFTER the necessary requirements like royalty calculator and selecting ALL products at the back end are fixed.

Ideally, yeah, but I'll take anything more at this point!

Yes please! We really need this whole month to monitor things and figure out how to best adjust our royalties.

I wholeheartedly agree that an extension is in order.  However, I believe that the royalty rate adjustments should remain in effect until a couple of weeks after the mythical new earnings reports are introduced.

So.... I'm guessing that's a "no."

Well, at least now my sales have completely flatlined to zero, there is no need to adjust royalties any more. 🐱
Does that fall into the category "there's an advantage to every disadvantage"?

Well, I suppose that's one way to look at it! (but sorry to hear that!)

Edit: I finally did make a small sale, but (should I say of course?) the one royalty change that I did make did not stick. I think this only stresses the urgency of your point, @Lea

James, do you mean until the 20th or the end of April?

The end of April, the 30th. After which time they will return to the normal monthly processing on the 20th of May.

James, under this new royalty structure it seems ridiculously unfair to only allow royalty adjustments once a month.  It’s going to take quite awhile to fine tune our stores even after the new “coming soon” tools are finally introduced.  We should not have to wait a month to make adjustments.  Why not once a week?  Pick a day — every Monday. Every Wednesday. I don’t care what day.  Please just give us more flexibility.

After realizing the extent of loss the new royalty fees caused to my earnings in the last couple of weeks, I increased my default royalty (and ticked the box) on the 21th Apr. Still none of my products show the updated percentage. How long does the process take?

I’m having the same issue, as are two other designers I know.

I can’t find the topic in the tech forum. Has it been reported? It can’t be that we have to wait till the 20th next month! It’d be a complete disaster!

Are you guys doing them in batches on the back end? I noticed when I did a single listing it updated quickly but when I selected a bunch it took awhile. It’s not really reasonable to go one at a time for everything but maybe prioritize a few top sellers to get out ahead?

At first I just changed the global setting, but as it didn’t update, I started to do them one by one. Didn’t work. Even when posting a new product, the default setting is still the old percentage, so have to adjust each.

We are processing them at the end of every day. Please be patient however as there are most likely a lot of requests at the moment so this is going to take longer than expected. As in it absolutely won't be immediate in some cases and might even take a day or two depending on how many is being done daily. If you have submitted a request, I would be confident it is logged. Submitting them multiple times will not help I'm afraid, although I understand your concern and action. Thank you so much for your patience at this time.

Thanks! I guess I can’do anything more, just wait. It’s been 4 days, I hope it won’t take another 4.
