Sharing links

Hi All,

I've just tried to share a link as I always do (using the share option) and I notice the link is no longer coming with ?rf=. and our affiliate / ambassador link. Is this correct?

I know there has just been a change, but I wonder if we need to manual add the ?rf= now or this is just with issues during this transition period.  I am sure I am doing something wrong 😄

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Rachel

@Badeesie I was in the associate program before, but not in the promoter program. So I was enrolled in the "ambassador" program "automatically". The RF code was removed from sharing from the product pages or collections and also after opting out of this "ambassodor" thing (it is now continually trying to push me to join it), the RF code is not there any more and apparently has to be added manually. 😠

You need to opt in under the Ambassador link in your account. If you don't, I am not sure if you would get any referral anymore.

As others have found and I just now tested, if I share someone else's product, my id# is tacked onto the link. If I share my own product, it's a clean link with nothing tacked onto it. So the only way in which it's different from the old way is that Zazzle is adding the id# for us, and we don't even have to think about it. Basically, nothing in the process has changed other than that everyone is essentially in the Promoter program unless they opt out of the Ambassador program.

Is my view of it possibly too simplistic? It's difficult to tell since, if there's a convoluted way to explain something, that's the way Zazzle chooses to explain it.
