Category pages give 404 error, worked before

Just a quick question about this. I added two categories to my shop. They both showed up correctly after a while, so this is not the issue. Today, I checked again and they both gave a 404 error upon opening. All I have done in the meantime is add two more products, each to one of the categories. All other products are still selected to these categories, so they should be filled with products. Anybody know what's going on? Is this a common issue?

@MaxT If you have a read over in the Technical Forum - it's a problem we're all having.

It will get fixed - just don't know when

New categories take time to fill when the site is running smoothly so it may be a few more days before it sorts itself out at store front level

So I would say yes - it's a common issue atm

Ah, I see. Thanks a lot for informing me about it. 

It's always annoying when something works and then suddenly it doesn't for no apparent reason. But here we go, so no problem.
