Good morning,
On some of my cards, I made a mistake choosing the marketplace department. I noticed after I put them on the marketplace. This morning, I tried changing the department which it does change in the edits.
However, when I look at it in the marketplace, it still says the former marketplace department (under Zazzle's explanation of what the type of card is).
I hope this post isn't confusing. I kind of confused myself! Is there any way, other than completely redoing the card, in which I can change Zazzle's explanation of the type of card? I changed marketplace departments so I'm confused as to why Zazzle's explanation retains the previous marketplace department.
Thank you!

I strongly suspect it's the slow indexing problems we've been experiencing in various arenas. Wait a few days and then check it again.

From my experience, it usually takes between 24 to 48 hours for category and department changes to show up. Though here recently I did notice that some changes took almost a week to show. I agree with @Barbara that it was most likely do to the slow indexing that we have all seen lately. Give it a few days to see if it shows up correctly. It does make it a bit difficult to reorganize things on the backend.

Assuming I understand, changing the marketplace department does not change what type of card you put it on - the part that's listed below the product and looks like this:
Unfortunately, if you created an invitation and put it on the standard "card" product rather than the "invitation" product, there is no way to change it. The only thing you can do is transfer the design to an invitation (i.e. create a new product using the correct blank this time). It's a little bit crazy making because they are the exact same physical product. I'm sure there must have been some method to this madness when Zazzle came up with the system, but whatever it was, we're stuck with it now. Sigh.

Darn. I thought that might be the case. Well, it was my fault. I went so fast, I didn't pay attention. I really hate to transfer it to another whole new listing as I will lose views and place in the market. <silent scream>
Thank you everybody for responding.

It's a bummer indeed. I learned that lesson the hard way too.
