Cover Photo Quality Problem

Hello, everyone! I have an issue with cover photos for my products.

I export high quality 6000 x 4000 and higher JPGs for my cover photos and yet when I upload them on my product, they are very low quality and very very blurry, especially on PC. May you please share some advise and tips&tricks on how to avoid that?

Thank you in advance!

I am not sure if I can post an example link to a product so I won't do that for now.

I upload covers that are a tad over 2000 pixels square, which is still fairly small, and they work well. Maybe it's best to crop to a square before uploading.

Yes, it's okay to post an example link to your own product.

(I'm not sure if you meant "can" or "may", but just copying the link and pasting it will work here.)

I also do Postcrossing!

@creativebunny

I know Zazzle likes square photos for their covers (min 1480 x 1480) and then they have to optimize them to be able to be crawled by the bots and to be able to be seen by customers on mobile so bigger is not necessarily better (unless I'm wrong about that)

Perhaps the optimizing bot is being a bit aggressive and scaling them down more?

I don't know.

I had the same problem when uploading very large cover photos. I now crop them to the minimum square dimensions that zazzle suggests and they are fine.
