Does Zazzle store location affect visibility and sales?

Hi, I’ve been on Zazzle for a few years. I recently updated my store locations as I’m moving country. And since then, my sales have dramatically gone down. It might be coincidence, or it might be true. Does anyone know if the store location makes a difference to sales? And if so, can we hide/delete it? Thanks

I don't know how or if it impacts where your designs appear in the marketplace (or to which customers) but you can remove it from your profile - you can find it under the designer/creator settings section (not the store settings.)

You can't remove the country but you can leave the city and state blank, and uncheck the "display on profile" box. This is how I have mine set:

And this is what customers see:

I chose to hide mine because I kept getting messages from customers who wanted rush orders. These were people in my same city who assumed that I manufactured the goods myself. One woman even wanted to know if she could come pick the stuff up in person! Anyhow, I guess posting your location gives your profile more "flavor" but in general I just think it adds to the overall confusion factor.

This is a total aside, but in looking at your profile I saw that you used the word "bespoke." If you want to appeal to an American audience, you might want to choose a different word like "custom." I only recently learned the word "bespoke" - it isn't frequently used here, and it might confuse people.

I'd like to know this as well. I sometimes get messages from customers worried about shipping times, since I'm in Sweden. With that in mind, it wouldn't surprise me at all if some customers avoid stores like mine since so many assume this is more like Etsy where we're responsible for every part of the process.

Unfortunately, I added country in the settings of some of my stores, and unlike on the profile page, there's no display box to uncheck there. At least not for me. I'd love to be able to remove country and see whether it makes a difference.

Hopefully, someone at Zazzle will see this. Or should we make a thread in the suggestions forum?
