Is it possible to download product images to phone through website or app? I feel the answer is no. I'm just in area without internet and even though I have high speed hotspotting it's really slow. I can download directly from phone much faster. I was hoping it was possible.

Yes, it is possible. From the product page --> click on the image you want to download --> click once again to get the "menu of actions: --> select "Download image."
I do it all the time for my IG promos.

Interesting. When I follow your instructions to download a zazzle image to my iphone, I don’t have a “download” option.

I think what this actually is at least on my phone is just downloading an image like any image on any webpage. Tapping on the product image loads a larger image. I just tap and hold that image and get a "download this image" prompt. I don't get a menu, just the same prompt I would get on any webpage on any image. This is a bit disturbing that downloading this image isn't blocked. Maybe it is if I'm not logged into my account. I ended up waiting for a faster hotspot connection which I could use to download from computer. It's a larger image. But if I couldn't, the above option would work.
Edit: I don't have the app. The webpage doesn't work well on my browser which is duck duck go and probably not recommended. I have an Android phone not iphone as well.

I tried this on my Samsung Galaxy phone (fairly new model) running latest version of Android (14).
Using Firefox browser (NOT the Zazzle app), I just tap the image to open the larger view and then tap & hold on that larger image to get the "save image" option which saves it to my phone. I can do this whether I am signed-in to my account or not and in both cases I get the same large size image I get if I do it from the computer. That is with being in the default mobile-site mode. If I switch the page to desktop-site mode, I can still do that, but I then also get all the site menus and options you get on the computer that aren't on the mobile version, so I can click the Media Manager tab and download my artwork or product photos to my phone, same as if using the computer.
One thing I never noticed before is that the Media Manager (via computer or phone) doesn't include an option to download any personal cover photos you may have added to the product. But if you use the tap & hold method on your phone, you can download them. For me, ALL personal covers downloaded this way were 2048 x 2048 regardless of what size I had uploaded them at. Covers for other people's products also always downloaded at 2048 x 2048. Z-provided images downloaded via Media Manager on the computer also always came out at 2048 x 2048. Most of the Z-provided images I downloaded using my phone were also 2048 x 2048, but a few, for inexplicable reasons, were slightly larger at 2154 x 2154.
So yeah, you can definitely download your product images to your phone, even your personal covers which you can then upload to Instagram (which I think still wants square images?) or elsewhere for promoting.

Top image is what I get from phone download. Bottom image is what it is cropped to product image. Top is 2154 square but image of postcard is 1690 by 1268. Which is probably fine. I can download any image from the internet if it's not blocked for downloading. But no menu from Zazzle. Just save prompt.
But my phone has android version 8. I only use duckduckgo browser. Still I can download images. Just no menu.
Edit: actually I think an image that small is rejected when downloaded to images. I may be wrong.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
ReEdit: It would be fine because the cover would be larger once I put postcard Image on it. So...nevermind. 😜
