Drop in sales after contest, anyone?

Hey, maybe it's just me, but I haven't had a sale since August 31. Not sure what happened. I had been working on my collections more than ever before during the contest. I thought I'd at least see a slight increase in sales. Before my sales were about every other day or so. Sometimes more. I had even had a couple of times where I had multiple sales in one day. Although that was rare. Anyway, I thought sure there would be an increase in sales after the contest. Well, not only wasn't there an increase, but a dramatic decrease! No sales since August 31. Wow. That was unexpected. Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't enter the contest, but my sales did slow considerably during the last few days of August.

They are steady now (i.e. spectacular on some days, but predictably slower on Friday/Saturday/Sunday) ...
so, in other words, the normal pattern for me.

Yes, I'm hard at work on the collections, too. 🙂

Creating event collections seems to have that effect. My store dropped in rank. My guess is that having too many similar products/designs is not helping. Bu that's just my five cents ...
