Hi,
I’m sorry if this has been asked before, but how do tags help in terms of increasing visibility? I’ve been making products and want them to be marketed towards kids (with nursery and school supplies, mainly).
Is there something I’m missing with tags?
thanks in advance

You can use the Help Center for that kind of question. For future use the link to the Help Center is to the right of your post in Creator Links.
Your answer can be found in the Titles, Description and Tagging Best Practices article.
Here are a few pieces of advice that are not in that article. Don't spam your tags. Spamming means you have added unrelated tags to try and garner views. For instance, if you've made a mug for dad you would not use a "Christmas" tag. Just because it could be used as a gift, doesn't mean your mug is deserving of that tag. If the mug said "merry christmas dad" than you could use the tag "Christmas".
Also, use only phrases a customer would use to find a product. Don't string words together such as "blue turtle red mom". It's a waste of tag space and gets you very little traction.
My last piece of advice is to read the entire article. Your products and descriptions need some serious help. I don't want to make you feel bad but unless you have a following of your art no one is going to search "Frost Babies Zhur sticker wolf pup". If you do have a following on the internet than you could still use some help there. But remember, if you want to be found you may need to use generic words such as "wolf pup"," wild animals", illustration and words or phrases like that.
I hope that helps you. Happy Zazzling. 🙂

The link below in LMGildersleeve's reply is an excellent reference, and after quickly looking at your store I think you can start by focusing on something, which oftentimes we all forget, is: "Ask yourself: if you were to look for your design, what would be the most common search terms?" The answer to that question will enable your audience to find you.
