How Long It Takes to See Results on Pinterest

Hi everyone!

I’ve been on Pinterest for about 2 months now and I’m at 6,100 monthly views.

For those with more experience:

How long did it take before you started seeing real results (traffic + sales)?

Did things suddenly pick up at a certain point?

Would love to hear your experiences 🙏

Seeing results from using Pinterest varies greatly and many factors are at play:
You may see short-term impressions and clicks right away, but conversion to sales typically lag. Momentum builds slowly in my experience. Occasionally, I have had a recent pin bring in a sale, but that is the exception rather than the rule. My best results for conversion come after more time. I often notice a growth spurt of sales in 3-6 months after I pin something. I still get sales from pins I posted years ago!
Other variables include quality of pin - vertical pints with a 2:3 ratio are best. Lifestyle and mockup pins are preferred (meaning nice visual images) not just product shots.
Another variable is your niche or the types of products you are pinning. How many people are searching on Pinterest for your type of item/design/topic?
It takes patience. Follow Pinterest best practices (you can google them and find good tips and suggestions) and pin good quality pins regularly.
Keep at it. It's a long game! 😊
